Close to Sulmona, this stylish, stand alone property with total privacy gives amazing views on the mountains and is 800m from the village of Bugnara. We are well situated for hiking, biking (on the doorstep) skiing and lakes (<40 minutes drive). Beach 50min. We are 100m from 2 bus stops. Trains and longer distance buses run from Sulmona, which is 8km away. Buses and trains go often to Rome and Pescara.

Explore Abruzzo & Sulmona whilst experiencing the best of rich village life in a newly restored modern apartment with all mod cons just 10 minutes from the A25 Autostrada. Conveniently located in Prezza, nicknamed the 'Balcony of Abruzzo', the apartment is a light open plan airy space with a well equipped kitchen and sofa bed for guests with children, centrally heated and with air conditioning. There is a modern bathroom with shower cubicle, wifi and US TV channels are available free of use.

The house among olive trees

A cottage made up of stone and timber built on two storeys, with a large living room, glass window, a couch for two people and a bathroom with sauna; on the second storey there is a double bedroom. Outdoors, there is a large garden with a porch equipped with BBQ and a wooden table. The site is located on the pleasant hills between Bellegra and Olevano Romano. We have currently added two beds, set up in a wonderful Indian teepe available for two extra guests in addition to the four ones.

Glamping Abruzzo - The Yurt

This luxurious yurt, with its own private hot-tub and fire-pit, is set in a peaceful olive grove, with sweeping views to the Majella mountain. Part of an organic olive farm, thirty minutes from Pescara Airport. Magnificent National Parks are nearby and the local restaurants are excellent too. Regretably, we are unable to accomodate pets, or chilldren under the age of 12 and alterations to your reservation are only accomodated prior to seven days in advance.

My accommodation is near Sulmona, a stone's throw from Lake Scanno and Abruzzo National Park My place is good for couples and hikers who love tranquility and nature. Inside the WWF Sagittarius Gorges oasis where bears, wolves, deer, golden eagle, coral croaking and other rare and interesting animals live. There are many species of rare or endemic plants such as the Fjordaliso of Sagittarius.
