At an altitude of 1,200 metres, on a ridge in the middle of the volcanic Cantal mountains, you wake up to the sound of cows mooing and birds singing. Inside, there is a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with box spring beds and a pellet stove for the cool mountain evenings. Set in the countryside, 4 kilometers from Condat and adjoining our home, is our Cantal farmhouse known as a longère. Thick stone walls, wooden beams, large living room with traditional fire place and log burner, internet tv, two bedrooms, bathroom, and fitted kitchen. Enjoy sitting by a roaring log fire in the winter or in the shade of the old lime tree with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views in the summer.
