Our luxury B&B is located on the green Mheenpark. Our guests experience the stay as an oasis of peace, with just that little bit extra. The spacious bathroom (3 x 3 meters!) is a true wellness space in itself: enjoy a warm whirlpool for two or an invigorating rain shower. In Huize Hertog there is no gas and you are at home, with just that little bit more.

The Hut in Radio Kootwijk in a unique location.

On top of the Veluwe massif is the small village of Radio Kootwijk. This village was founded around 1920 around "Building A" in which the long wave transmitter stood for the radio telephone connection to what was then the Dutch East Indies. And later for all intercontinental telephone connections TOR (telephone over radio). Later connections with ships. It became redundant after satellite. About 100 people live here, and there are no stores. In short, a place for hikers, cyclists and peace seekers.

From this beautiful location, there are plenty of cycling and walking routes, and it's a 10-minute walk to the village and the woods. You're also very welcome to sit in the vineyard. Handmade out of many reclaimed materials by Jaap, and personally designed to blend into the glorious high trees by Lucinda, with 10.5m metres of glass so you can watch the animals pass by from the sofa. The terrace is a morning sun trap for a great yoga and meditation session followed by breakfast to the birdsong chorus. Perfect for a couple (plus baby in cot) or 2 friends. Relax completely in an attractive guest house. The well-maintained guest house is located on a spacious enclosed property in the outskirts between Loenen and Klarenbeek. A loyal visitor to our property is the badger that lives in this region. Furthermore, you regularly see squirrels in the garden. The place is quiet and has a lot of privacy. It is not suitable for children under 12 or babies Breakfast can be requested in consultation for 15 euros per person per day.

You love a vintage look and quiet environment, especially in the evening. The Veluwe and the IJssel are easy to visit, but cities like Zutphen and Zwolle are also easily accessible.
