The Architect's Retreat by Oregon Coast Modern

Originally designed by renowned Portland, OR architect Marvin Witt for his family, this towering 3 story "tree house" has been lovingly updated and restored. It features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and an open concept living room and kitchen with fireplace on the top floor. The house also features 3 private decks. It's a short walk to the beach and close to town and hiking trails. Per Airbnb policy please note we have exterior cameras for security in the driveway, front walkway and east side siding.

Arch Cape - Raven Hill Studio

Welcome to Raven Hill Studio. We built this home in 2018. The warm woods, clean lines, and natural light invite the views right in. The large windows and an oversized deck lookout onto Oswald West State Park, a glimpse of the ocean and endless star gazing await. This beautiful space provides an incredibly tranquil experience on the edge of the woods, with the ocean just a short walk away. We have poured our hearts into building this space and we hope that you enjoy it as much as we do.

End of The Road - 4 Night Minimum

End Of The Road is a rustic family cabin perched on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, with the wooded hills of Oswald West State Park rising behind. Hand built in the late 1950's by the current owners, this 2 bedroom one bathroom cabin includes a wood stove, hot tub and washer/dryer. The location is a dramatic and stunningly wild spot. There is little sense of other human presence. Dogs are welcome with an Additional Services Fee of $25 per night, per dog: limit 2. Sorry, no cats.

Idyll Ridge - An Unplugged Retreat

Unplug by design at Idyll Ridge, a handcrafted off-grid sanctuary on 9 private acres. Experience total serenity with full-lite glass walls, a massive wood-fired hot tub, and private forest trails. We’ve traded Wi-Fi for absolute peace, but kept the luxury: a chef’s kitchen, a loft with a two-person soaking tub, and a backup generator for total reliability. Whether you’re hiking nearby Saddle Mountain or watching the sunset from the tub, this is the ultimate 2-night forest reset.

Coastal Peace & Tranquility

The Clam Shell room is a private king suite with a private entrance and deck, full bath with a claw foot tub, king size gel foam bed, full dining table for work, art or dining, casual lounging area, compact refrigerator, a meal prep area and WIFI. There are no cooking appliances except for an electric tea kettle and coffee maker. Our neighborhood is nestled between two state parks and we are a 3 blocks to the beach. We are in rural coastal forested county with gravel roads.

“The Barnacle", is our family's 1924 cozy, beach cottage that many have fallen in love with. Just 1 short block to a beautiful sandy beach with a creek, "the cape", caves, tidal pools - stunning coastal scenery galore! Whether during warm summer fun, or exciting winter storms, guests love to end up near our old stone fireplace. Our location is so close to the beach, yet quiet and peaceful - the perfect old-fashioned beach cottage to renew and refresh! Must See Photos!

Eagle's Nest - Connect with the Soul of the Coast

300 feet above the ocean on sacred Neahkahnie Mountain, 30 feet above the ground. Built by hand with love in 1985. Look out thru giant Sitka spruce and Douglas fir, south & west to the ocean. Look up from the sleeping loft through a huge skylight to the night stars and moon. Leave urban culture behind. Retreat into a world where the rest of nature speaks loudly. Neahkahnie means "place of the spirits." All are welcome to find true peace & magic here.

The Surf Haus - Arch Cape - Sauna & Hot Tub

The Surf Haus is our family's custom home built with the intention to bring respite and enchantment to the Oregon Coast. We sought out to create a space that is completely immersed in the area's natural environment yet with bespoke 5-star amenities allowing our guests to relax, dine, connect and explore. In the private forested backdrop, immerse yourself in the full spa experience: cedar hot tub, barrel sauna, and outdoor shower.

Little Caper - Newly Renovated!

If you are dreaming of a “get away from it all” at an authentic beach cottage you need to experience Little Caper. A beloved vacation home for many years, Little Caper has great ocean views and is a quick one-block walk to the beach. It is located on a dead-end street away from the noise and traffic of Highway 101. The cottage boasts a spacious, wrap-around deck and large grassy yard which is perfect for play and relaxation.

Light-filled, modern home situated at the base of Neahkahnie Mountain on the northern end of beautiful Manzanita beach. An intentionally designed coastal home that is intimately connected to the landscape. The large scale windows keep guests engaged with beach and mountain views. The house inspires an informal, barefoot lifestyle. We invite guests to find themselves again within our quiet oasis.
