Holiday rentals in Archiestown

We enjoyed great weather and there was lots to see and do. The accommodation was excellent and Tracy was very helpful. Highly recommended.

Perfect place to stay for exploring the Cairngorms - me and a few colleagues took on the Scottish 3 Peaks so we were well placed and the house made the ideal base camp. There isn’t much around (other than one great restaurant), but it’s in close reach of Aviemore. James was very responsive during our stay which made the whole thing stress free. I’d definitely recommend and would do so again in the future

What can I say about this immaculate house... First, the host Tracey is very quick to respond. She is incredibly friendly and provided everything we needed to know about the house and the area. I met the friendly cleaner, Ellen, on my way out - she does an amazing job of keeping the place spotless!! I also met Vee, the next door neighbour who helps with the property and she was lovely. The neighbourhood is quiet, and the house was very easy to find. We ordered food from one of the recommended restaurants and it was delicious! Beds were very cozy and there is a tv in every room. Strong WiFi connection. Close to shopping and groceries. They're was a wonderful bottle of prosecco waiting for us when we arrived as well. I can't say enough good things about our stay!! Would definitely stay again. Thank you for everything Tracey!! I would give this place an extra star if I could!!

I booked Cardon house for my friends Hen do! It was in such a lovely location, surrounded by woodland. There was lots of space outdoors and seating areas to sit outside. Indoors was lovely, ample space for larger parties to stay. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfy. The lounge area was lovely, it was very spacious and had lots of seating. It was great for hosting the hen party games and being able to sit together. There was a lovely wood burner which unfortunately we did not get a chance to use but would be great for in the winter. The kitchen and dining area was open plan and spacious and there was a large table for all of us to sit. It’s about a 15/20 min drive by taxi, which we used to travel into Inverness. Taxi was able to find Cardon house promptly and easily. Caroline was responsive when I asked her questions regarding the stay and we got to meet her when we checked out. She was welcoming and asked about our stay. We did not want to leave. Very happy bride to be!

First time visiting but not the last. The cottage itself and surrounding area/garden was amazing. Beautifully clean and garden is enormous. Comfortable beds, living room, kitchen with everything you would need. If you would rather eat out it’s only an 8 minute drive from Nairn which has lots of nice cafes and restaurants. Harbour and beach accessible with lovely walk along sea front. Some nice beach cafes such as Basil Harbour cafe, Strathnairn beach cafe and Sun Dancer. Lots to do in surrounding areas however it was a short break so it was a relaxing/chilled weekend. Would recommend Logie Steading, gorgeous garden plants/shop/cafe and art gallery. Also checked out Golf View hotel and spa for some drinks which has amazing views (didn’t get a chance to sample the spa). Hilary provided a friendly helpful check in with a nice chat with Graeme checking out. Didn’t want to leave so booked our next visit before checking out. Can’t wait till we are back again

If you're looking for a place where to feel at home while you're visiting the beauties of Scotland, then you've definitely found it. Bethany is a super host, she welcomed us with warmth and kindness and the studio was perfect for our stay. The room and the bathroom were spotless and provided with everything we could need. The house is located in a really quiet neighborhood and it's just a 15 minute drive from Inverness, and a 5 minute drive from Cullen battlefield and Clava Cairns.

Thanks so much for our early check in. Beautiful spacious house would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much Andrew we had the best time.

I wish I could give this ten stars! The home was so lovely with many thoughtful touches. From the welcoming wee dram to the super comfortable beds to the gorgeous hand crafted tub. Audrey and John are delightful and we’d love to return.
