Beatriz's little house

Hello! We are Sonia, Elio and our daughter Beatriz. Our goal is to make your vacation unforgettable!! Welcome to our home!! The "Casinha da Beatriz" is located in Santana, land of typical houses, ex-libris and tourist poster of the island of Madeira. They were houses composed of an attic, where agricultural products were kept, and a ground floor with the living area. We rebuilt one of these typical "little houses," dating back to 1950, with all the comforts of today. It overlooks the sea/mountains.

Come stay at an old winemakers house that has been beautifully renovated by your host and family with open plan and airy living. Situated on the north side of the island, there is a small bar/cafe in the village which is a 5 minute drive, a large supermarket and many restaurants/cafes in Santana which is a 10 minute drive.The weather can be hot and humid but also bring fresh wind and rain. In the summer months the house stays cools, there is a log burner and plenty of blankets to keep you cosy.

"Just Nature 1" Madeira Island -Boaventura

"Just nature 1" is located in Boaventura-S. Vicente An ideal place for walking wrapped in protected Laurisilva, where the only sound you can hear is the sound of the birds! Absorb the amazing views of the northen part of Madeira island, and meet the insides of the Laurissilva by going on walk in "Levada da Origem", located at 100 meters from the house. Near the house there is also a minimarket, where you can meet Mr. José, ask for the local drink, and get to know a bit more about Boaventura.

Jardim do Mar, Sunset Bougainvillea House

130m² Wohnfläche verteilt auf zwei Ebenen, zwei Schlafzimmer (jeweils Doppelbetten im EG und im OG) mit separatem Dusch-/Wannen-Bad je mit Regendusche laden bis zu vier Personen zum Wohlfühlen in idyllischen Ort in direkter Nähe zum Meer ein. Die attraktive Lage des Hauses und des Ortes, das klare Design, hochwertige Materialien sowie eine raffinierte Aufteilung der Räume schaffen ein ganz besonderes Urlaubserlebnis. Das großzügige Haus wurde komplett renoviert und liebevoll eingerichtet.

Palheiro Jardim Avó Graça [Grandma Graça's Garden]

The sea and the mountains are so close to you. Nature at its best. This site shows what the typical shelter of the ancient shepherds here on Madeira Island called Palheiro was like. Its function was to be the shelter for the shepherd/farmer to put the animals and store the products taken from the land and their food, such as cattle and goats. It was a place without great resources, very simple. The Palheiro do Jardim da Avó Graça is SLIGHTLY adapted to our times. It is a Rustic Place.

Be adventurous , something completely different

Located in the north-western part of the island ,its an amazing location protected by conservation laws that have kept the area free of over development. With epic mountain and sea-views (the photos don't do it justice) the tents are located 450m above the coastline. If a place to relax and unwind is what you after then this would be the place to come to. There are also some amazing levada walks to explore in the area.There are three tents on the property so you might have neighbours.

It is composed by 4 apartments in two separate houses set in a beautiful tropical garden. Agapanthus is located on the first floor and enjoys a spectacular view of the ocean. The studio has a bedroom, living room with kitchenette, a spacious windowed bathroom, very bright and comfortable.

Casa da Rocha is located in Santana, just 12 km from the typical Santana houses, with sea and mountain views, free Wi-Fi and free private parking.
