Having recently undergone a major programme of renovation our 200 year old cottage successfully combines all the essentials for comfortable modern living with the charm and character of years gone by. Great care has been taken to preserve many original features. The cottage is ideal for couples and families and children of all ages are very welcome.

Quaint “Lilac Tree Cottage” Greyabbey

'Lilac Tree' is a quaint two bedroom cottage located in the historic village of Greyabbey on the shores of Strangford Lough, Ards Peninsula, opposite the beautiful Cistercian Abbey. The cottage dates back to 1860 and has a spacious living room with wood-burning stove, seperate kitchen with dining table, two small cosy bedrooms & a modern bathroom. Accommodates 4 guests with additional accommodation available for a further 2 guests. A wood-fired hot tub can be set up for an extra charge of £130.

Lovely 200 year old fully modernised cottage with fully fitted modern kitchen for guests to use. We provide a food cupboard with tea, coffee and cereal etc. We leave bread and milk , and soft drinks. If you require anything else, please let us know . Convenient downstairs toilet and an ensuite upstairs . Free wifi. Open water swimming spots are only yards away, so you can wash off every day stresses without the need to jump in your car. And don't worry we are extremely happy to accommodate any of your fury friends. The well- equipped cottage, provides you with a cosy yet modern stay while you explore North Down with free on-street parking.

200 year old Coastguard cottage.

Situated at the beach on the Manse Rd in Cloughey, the cottage is 200 years old and has a self-contained annex at the back. There is a magical, tropic garden at the rear of the property which is approx 60m long, with many areas to relax in. The cottage faces directly east so the sun rises in front of you with uninterrupted views - the beach is 10 metres away. We love dogs and know they will also enjoy our garden and the beach so the gardens are secure and gated. There is Bistro 100m away

Ballymacashen Cottage

Ballymacashen Cottage is a 19th century traditional Irish cottage set in a rural setting in the heart of County Down. Relax and enjoy this cosy cottage, with a wood burning stove and quiet surroundings, or enjoy a variety of outdoor activities on offer in the area. We are spoilt with local pubs and restaurants in the nearby villages of Balloo and Lisbane, but the cottage is also only 13miles from Belfast City Centre. The cottage has 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom, a kitchen and living room.

Teal Cottage - Killyleagh Area

A cosy cottage letting set within a private small holding, situated right on the shore of Strangford Lough between Killyleagh & Killinchy. It is the perfect base to escape to the country, enjoy amazing wildlife and the wider great outdoors that Co. Down has to offer. The well equipped comfortable cottage sleeps five and has direct access to Strangford Lough, a secret bird hide situated on the shore line with a secluded wooded BBQ, fire pit and picnic area for guest to enjoy.

The cosy cottage provides perfect accommodation for up to 4 people. You can enjoy the spa pool, sauna, and paddle boards whilst experiencing breath-taking views. The cottage is located a stones throw from the beach, with stunning views looking over Strangford Lough and the Mourne Mountains. Only 5 minutes walk is the village of Kircubbin, where there are pubs, restaurants and a supermarket. With the water so close, wake up to the sounds, views & smell of the sea.

Quoile Cottage - self-contained character cottage

My place is close to restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities and art and culture. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers and families. If you love nature, beautiful walks and fishing then this would be an ideal location for you! Game of Thrones fans would also think it a good spot. Please note there is one bedroom with a queen bed downstairs and a day bed which can be made into two singles upstairs. There is no door between.

Take a break and unwind at our peaceful country cottage, with great views of the countryside, relax in the hot tub, maybe enjoy the sunset from the tub! we are Chris and Hannah, the owners of the Gate House and look forward to welcoming you for a relaxing rural break.
