Afterwards: Finnish sauna, garden, starry sky. Rent bikes and canoes, enjoy the Elbe, and switch off in the UNESCO biosphere reserve. Halfway between Hamburg and Berlin. Gym free of charge for stays of 3 nights or more!

Vacation home

Welcome to our stylish holiday apartment – ideal for families, groups and friends. Completed in 2022, the accommodation offers modern living comfort over approx. 170 m². You can expect a spacious, open-plan living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen, four separate bedrooms, two bathrooms and a sofa bed for two more guests. Space for up to 10 people. The highlight is the bright living area with high ceilings, open timber-framed walls and glazed Tennentor overlooking the village square.

Time out in the forest with an oven and sauna!

In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

Kastanien Cottage

Our four one-room apartments Kastanie, Ahorn, Linde and Birke combine the charm of the historic Herbsthausen with modern ease. All apartments are absolutely different and lovingly modernized by us. The chestnut tree can accommodate two to four people. The apartments are part of "Herbsthausen", a cultural project in beautiful Gartow. We are renovating a historic sawmill into a future location for art, industrial culture, living, working, international exchange and recreation.

Step into our 1916’s Altmark treasure, where a Dutch vintage curator and American contractor blend their passions! Our new, charming and lovingly furnished apartment is located in a former stable building of the old farm, just 700 m from the Nemitz Heath. The 60 sqm are divided into a kitchen, hallway, bathroom, a bedroom/living room and a beautiful wooden terrace - ideal for couples or solo travelers, suitable for a maximum of 3 people. Wallbox and bicycle shed are provided. On request, 1–2 horses can be accommodated (€20/night) – ideal for unforgettable star rides in great nature.

Our cosy holiday apartment in the small village of Bülitz in the Altmark region offers approximately 70 m² of space for 2–4 people. The maisonette extends over two floors and offers a peaceful location and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Old walls, exposed wooden beams, brick and clay plaster create a unique atmosphere and combine rustic charm with modern comforts such as underfloor heating and fibre-optic internet. Relax on the small pony farm

Enjoy a great time on our private farm with our horses/ponies. Depending on the number of guests, you will have two or three bedrooms, a large living room with a dining table, a small but well-equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a bathtub. From the terrace you have a beautiful view over the horse pasture and enjoy the sunset. I'm happy to give you tips on things to do in our beautiful Wendland. I look forward to meeting you!

Living in an old school

There is no central heating. There is a hot air oven, which is similar to a tiled stove, but quickly gives plump warmth. It is heated on arrival and the heat usually lasts until the next morning. It's easy to cheer! Relax, also enjoy silence in a stylish guest apartment, feel comfortable no matter the weather. Quiet in the countryside, there is no distraction, no shops, no cafe, nothing.
