Perfect base for those without a car as walking distance to centre. 7 miles from Royal Troon golfcourse and 15 miles to Turnberry.

Bed & Breakfast in our 1840s brick-built railway cottage in Helensburgh on the River Clyde close to Loch Lomond. We are nestled behind tall buildings so we do not have a scenic view. We offer off-road parking and secure bicycle storage in our shed. Helensburgh marks the start of the John Muir Way and the Three Lochs Way distance walks. The West Highland Way and several other walks are nearby.. For climbers, Ben Lomond, the Conic Hill and Ben Arthur (The Cobbler) are a short drive away.

Perfectly situated between Fort William and Oban and just 10 minutes drive from Glencoe. We are on the edge of Glen Duror with plenty of forest walks from your door or just relax and watch the Red Squirrels in the garden. Route 78 cycle path is nearby and many Munros are on the doorstep. The house stands on its own in a rural setting and is close to the ferry for the Island of Kerrera. The view from the house is over looking the Sound of Kerrera with yachts, fishing boats and ferries passing by. It's two miles to Oban which has a large choice of places to eat. There is virtually no public transport to the house. Taxis are available from the railway station area in the town. Visitors are asked to arrive after 17.00 hours and on the morning of departure to leave by 10.00.

The Bothy Suite by Temple Wood

The Bothy Suite is in the 'hidden village' of Slockavullin , delightfully rural but only 1 mile from the village of Kilmartin with Pub, museum and cafe. Temple Wood and the standing stones are in walking distance with the Crinan Canal a short drive or cycle. The guest accommodation does have a seperate entrance and the whole of the ground floor is for guest use with 2 double bedrooms and modern bathroom consisting of double width shower, sink and toilet. Breakfast is continental.

Do have a look at the reviews of previous guests There are 2 bedrooms: 1 ensuite double and 1 which can have a king size or twin single beds and has private bathroom. High Oatfield B & B room 1

I offer an organic continental breakfast in your king size ensuite room in wonderful scenery with abundant wildlife on the doorstep. Central for travel to either North or South of the island. You will need a car to enjoy your stay with me, and you will need to ensure you have a ferry reservation if you are travelling from Oban, go to Calmac web site to arrange your car booking. Please note I DO NOT offer cooking facilities I am as the name suggests a Bed and Breakfast.

We are a B&B based in the North West of the Isle of Mull, between the beautiful beach of Calgary and the village of Dervaig, just under half an hour from Tobermory.
