Shared outdoor toilet, indoor bath heated by solid fuel stove. Wood can be bought for £13 a bucket and will be left for you to use if you want. The cabin has been built to immerse our guests into the tranquil surroundings with uninterrupted countryside views over native woodland from the decking area where deer and sea eagles are regular visitors.

Escape to the aptly named Tigh Na Mara Cottage which in Gaelic means “at the edge of the sea”. This romantic cottage is a place to find your soul and escape the stresses of life. It sits right on the edge of Loch Fyne in the delightful fishing village of Newton. It has recently been fully refurbished and has unrivalled views over gorgeous Loch Fyne. You will be mesmerised by the shimmer of blue water through the windows. It’s also a short drive from the famous Inver Cottage Restaurant.

Sea-fari boat trips leave from the harbour, the slate beach and hill walks all walkable from the cottage. You also have a lovely private garden for your own use.

An ideal place for walkers, or families for adventurous holidays. On a working farm with sheep and cattle, so expect some sounds and noises at times.

Spacious and comfy 3 bedroom (NB one king, one double, two single beds) house in a small village, 2 bathrooms, garden, perfect for a relaxing family holiday! Interesting local hikes, close to many beauty spots and attractions, 15 minute drive to the busy town of Oban, 45 minute drive to Fort William. There is a cycle track just across the road which goes almost all the way to Ballahulish (9 miles from Fort William).
