Forest Lane Guest Quarters

Quiet country setting only 3 miles from Downtown Huntsville, 4.5 miles from SHSU, 1 mile from Walker County Fair . Home is a perfect place to come relax after a long day at work or a day shopping on the square. We are surrounded by trees and deer love to come visit morning and night. The guest quarters are set up like a hotel with a full size fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. The space has its own entrance and guests have the ability to come and go as needed without disturbing homeowners.

The quaint and charming Sam Houston Cottage provides a front porch view of the historic granite monument sculpted in 1911 by Italian artist Pompeo Coppini to mark the final resting place of Sam Houston. This very special corner house typifies the traditional style and charm of a bygone era yet provides all the modern comforts of home.
