“I have stayed in converted travel trailers before and this one is by far the best designed. Hosts' description tells it all, no unwelcome surprises. Although compact, everything is there for comfort and function. The outdoor amenities (deck, BBQ grill, hot tub, outdoor shower, fire pit, hammock) are nicely laid out and under a canopy of live oaks. With the comfortable accommodations being in an Airstream trailer (22 feet?) and the wooded setting, the overall experience is of spaciousness and seclusion.”

“Oh. My. Goodness. Bill's Travis Heights Hideaway was so perfect for our staycation. We live in east Austin and wanted a change of scenery (since we can't really travel right now) and a pool to lounge by for a few days. The Hideaway is modern, clean, comfortable, and so welcoming. The energy of the entire property is luxurious and chill at the same time. I would recommend this guest house to those who want the convenience of hip, central Austin (easy access to everything) and the privacy of a residence (vs a hotel). Seriously, it was truly a satisfying stay. Oh, and the decor is effing rad! ;)”
A remote, off-grid adobe dome, powered by solar power, and near Big Bend National Park.
“Super cute dome in the middle of the desert near Terlingua, with great desert vibes. Could not recommend more! The owner was super responsive, has everything laid out for you, and made all the necessary amenities available to you. A very well thought out vacation place, with plenty of options for adventuring. The dome is off-grid with no A/C so it does get hot during the day, but cools down at night. We made use of the Terlingua Ranch Lodge pool down the road to cool off each day, and met the nicest people on earth there. We enjoyed watching the desert sunsets, showering in the outdoor shower, hanging in the hammocks, seeing lots of desert creatures, and wandering around the desert on the "dome run" path. 10/10 would recommend.”
