Chalet holiday rentals in Arkansas River

We absolutely loved our stay at Brownell Chalet! If you love old charming accommodations this is the place for you. We love old, historic places and this did not disappoint. Even though this is an older, it was in pristine, clean condition. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The 2 room configuration with kitchenette was perfect for us and our 2 teen boys. Christof met us to let us in (even at 10pm!) and had it all open and lit for us. The location is literally steps to Chair 1 - couldn't be more convenient. If you stay here (and you should) be sure to ask Christof for a reservation in the Der Garten Bistro which is his delicious, cozy restaurant right in the chalet. We felt incredibly welcome!

Stay was great was a good vibe and nice scenery. Love the trees and tranquility of the neighborhood. Stay wasn’t really luxury but more of regular home just situated in forestry area. Only great thing was scenery. Propane grill caught fire due to a bad propane leak on grill. I’m certified in fire safety. There was no fire extinguisher on site which is very dangerous. Really wanted to use grill. Was able to extinguish fire without extinguisher. This air bnb was missing crucial things. Dishwasher didn’t work , hand washed dishes whole time. Dryer didn’t work air dried clothes. Windows don’t have any privacy can see straight into room. Hot tub wasn’t the cleanest. WiFi and Tv were a joke (didn’t work). Overall property still had nice vibes and resort is amazing.

Great host and beautiful home. Excellent view and comfortable accommodation. All amenities were there as listed. Lots of indoor things (games, magazines and books) to do if you’re a group. Paul is very responsive and helpful throughout the stay. Totally enjoyed the stay!

Gracious and professional host. The condo was really clean despite its older age. We really appreciated small convenience touches, like firewood, laundry detergent, and some coffee k-cups - it just made the small things easier. Nice neighbors and fairly quiet area. The location is very convenient to the resort and lift.

This was our first ABnB rental. Frankie and Sue’s hospitality and attention to detail was phenomenal. their home is beautiful and came as advertised. We will return! We’ll also use ABnB again as a result of our experience with Frankie and Sue. Though I know it will be hard to match our experience elswhere.

The Place was Great for our family of six. We stayed at this place last year and celebrated New Years so decided to book again for this New Years. Glad we did lots of good Memories to be had! Thank you for sharing your place with us!

This place was amazing. It had everything we could ask for and so much more. It was spotless. The hot tub on the river was amazing. My kids love the games provided! We felt like we were at home! I would definitely come back and recommend this house to anyone! Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts!

Beautiful home!! Location was near Silver Dollar City, had great amenities. Blake was great to communicate with. We will definitely book again.

We stayed here on a family get away to ski and relax. The house was a fantastic family home with beautiful views and just a short drive from Angel Fire Ski Resort. The basement of the home was a fun place to hang out and play games and the main floor gave us enough space to eat dinner together as a group of 9 and enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountains. The upstairs rooms do get warm at night in the winter and the host did provide recommendations on how to regulate the temp, so read all of the tips they give you about this property. We would stay here again.

An amazing house in an amazing location. Was able to accommodate all of us very easily. Loved the kitchen living room layout. Everyone felt included when making meals. Highly recommend this place as a beautiful remote location.

We loved Ben’s place! It had the cutest little area for little ones to play in or sleep in. We appreciated one of the bedrooms being on the main floor. Open concept was nice for us an and our toddler grand children. There was a pac and play high chair and baby gate Ben was super helpful and friendly , would love to try one of his other properties!

Easily one of the best, if not the best, AirBNB we have stayed in. Absolutely stunning views, and an amazing area to be in, the pictures do not do it justice. The home was well stocked, and had everything we needed and then some. Very quiet and cozy. We will come back again for sure.

Great cabin with easy access to Taos Ski Valley. Kayta was responsive and a great host. Highly recommend.

Perfect place!! Such a wonderful time spent w/family as we celebrated my father-in-loves possibly last ski trip. He is 83 and on his “bucket list” was attempt one last ski trip. This place accommodated all of us to stay together and play games in the evening. Thank you.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dane's place. The home is modern and clean, the yard and beach are great, and the Innsbrook setting is amazing. We would definitely rent again.

This place was my sanctuary whenever I craved nature. Every second I spent there was an absolute delight and a source of immense peace. The view left me in awe. I absolutely love it! I will totally have in my list to return to this.

This place was amazing. Beautiful lake with your own dock that points to the rising sun. Hot tub was fantastic! Beds were comfortable and very large. Wild life everywhere! From deer in the yard to otters in the pond. Side note about innsbrook... it is a gated community and has its own golf course and more lakes and waterfalls than you can count. Its beauty is indescribable. I cant wait to go back asap.

We had a wonderful stay at Tom’s place! The property is beautiful. Lots of space both inside the house and outside for our family gathering of 11 to spread out. We went for Thanksgiving. It was cold, but there was still plenty to do - hike, sing around the campfire, enjoy heater on back porch, game room and movies inside. Tom was responsive and happy to help when we had questions! Book it - you’ll love it!
