Holiday rentals in Armamar

The house is cozy, the view is gorgeous, Cecilia and Jose were the best hosts we’ve ever had. The kitchen was very well equipped, even the knives were sharp and there were plenty of kitchen towels, two issues I often deal with. The weather was chilly and rainy for most of our week so we weren’t able to enjoy the beautiful deck area. But we enjoyed the wood stove fire and the coziness of the house. Jose and Cecilia were always available to us and we enjoyed getting to know them. If we return to the Douro, this is where we will stay. We loved the entire experience!

un lieu hors du temps.... authentique et très agréable... entouré d'une nature aux milles odeurs (orangers en fleurs, sureau, herbes aromatiques)... et une hôte si chaleureuse vrai moments de bonheur !!!

Marina est une hôte adorable et très réactive. La maison est magnifique, parfaitement fidèle aux photos. Un petit coin de paradis pour se ressourcer et visiter les villages environnants.

Tout était parfait. La maison comprend tout le nécessaire pour un séjour agréable. La literie est très confortable. La vue est magnifique! Encore un grand merci pour toutes les gentilles attentions trouvées à notre arrivée!

Such an amazing apartment! Spacious, very stylish and it has an amazing, sunny terrace with a stunning view. Supermarkets, restaurants, ATM and a bakery are within walking distance. Marli was super communicative and always replied very fast. She gave us some useful tips for river beaches and even brought us cake for her sons birthday :) 10/10!

Wenn du in das Haus kommst dann blickst du einfach über das ganze Tal.. sensationelle Aussicht. Die großen Fensterfronten ermöglichen auch an kühlen Tagen die gleiche Aussicht von drinnen. Es ist gut erreichbar, alles geteerte Straßen nicht zu steil. Und dort ist dann Ruhe pur.. Abends hört man nur die Grillen zirpen.. herrlich. Die Better sind sehr bequem, alles ist vorhanden. Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, kleinere Renovationen würden über Zeit gut tun. Ich empfehle das Haus trotzdem jedem Ruhesuchenden, der schöne Aussichten liebt und in einer guten Lage für die Erkundung des Douro Gebietes sein möchte. Wanderungen sind ab dem Haus möglich und im Dorf ist das exzellente Restaurant DOC. Danke Mimi für alles..

Nous avons logé quelques jours à 4 adultes, le logement est très sympa avec ses 2 suites, les 2 chambres ont 2 entrées distinctes avec un sas où se trouve chaque salle d'eau et un grand placard. Logement très calme, les seuls bruits entendus sont quelques voitures (normal, logement situé au cœur d'un village) et le joli son de l'église (le logement est juste à côté, l'église émet une petite musique avant de sonner les heures à partir de 6h00 du matin jusqu'à 21h00 ou 22h00). Nous recommandons ce logement sans souci avec un propriétaire très sympathique.

This place was incredible. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, it was perfect. Such a kind host and farm manager, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, and convenient to all things in the Douro Valley. I would stay at this place again in a second. Definitely worth it!
