The Cottage

Unplug in this peaceful little getaway. Nestled in the backyard of our little hobby farm near the Wood River, you will be able to visit our alpacas, goat, or honey bees. Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking supplies and a Keurig coffee machine with several options for you to choose from. The Nest

The Nest is an upstairs mini apartment in a building on a working bison ranch. The decor is birds, flowers, nature. The windows look out over the pastures. The bathroom features a shower and small clothes washer. The kitchenette area includes hot drink dispenser, microwave, toaster oven, and mini fridge. A cot and portable crib are available on request. Breakfast snacks and coffee are included in the room rate. Covid concerns: you will be the only occupants in the building overnight.

The River House

Come explore the great outdoors when you stay at the river house and enjoy the quiet as you look over the South Loup River Valley. There is river access for all kinds of water fun from tubing, fishing, kayaking, and swimming. You can enjoy evening sunsets out on the covered front porch or setup your telescope for some amazing star gazing with no light pollution. Welcome to this lovely home, which retains elements of it's nearly 100-year-old history. It is located in a quiet residential area with a comfy living room where you can relax after long hours of driving. High-speed Internet is equipped for everyone to utilize. And a washing machine and a dryer are provided in the basement. Additional pillows and blankets are provided as well. It's very close to downtown, only takes about 3-5 minutes to restaurants, banks and shopping centers.

Beautiful views of the sandhills and Middle Loup river going thru the property, with a small catch & release fishing pond on property.
