Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Ashland County

This is the second time I have stayed in Robert's house. He is a fabulous host. He has thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. A gorgeous house with a wonderful yard. Thank you, Robert!!!!

Great place to stay! Super clean, had everything we needed, and was close to everything we wanted to do in Medina. The host was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at Kathryn’s place. Very comfortable and private. We loved the retro vibe. There are train tracks close but the trains didn’t bother us at all. Our 2 dogs especially loved exploring the huge yard. Before we got there Kathryn messaged me to see if we wanted her to turn on any lights for us, that was thoughtful. At the house there is information on the history of the house and property and also suggested restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay at the house to visit our daughter for Easter. The property was perfect for hosting our daughter and her friends from college; plenty of outdoor space for a cookout, a warm and cozy interior to help the college kids feel "at home", and comfortable accommodations for us all who stayed at the house. The yard is large with a fenced-in area for our dog, who LOVED it! Please keep in mind if there is rain, the yard can be a bit soggy, but that is to be expected and didn't deter us at all. The grill and other kitchen/cooking amenities were great, and Marcia left a TON of snacks and breakfast food for the house. The whole vibe of the place is authentically "farmhouse", which we loved. We did not use any televisions. etc, but we did see a few, so "modern conveniences" are there. We will surely consider renting again for future trips and highly recommend this rental.

JoAnn was incredibly responsive and made sure all our needs were taken care of, even going the extra mile by sharing helpful information about local golf courses. The property itself was amazing — it fit our needs and wants perfectly. Thanks to JoAnn and this great place, our golf vacation went smoother than ever!

Lovely house, lovely stay. Was there for a night after a long day at Kalahari with the kids. Home was cozy and the host was very welcoming. Whenever I’m back in town I will def book again.

We found Judy's place to be very welcoming, clean, and supplied with everything you could possibly want. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The kitchen appliances were up to date the kitchen was extremely well stocked. The pots and pans and utensils, etc., were high quality. The gas grill was clean and in good working order. We made use of the extra refrigerator in the garage which was quite handy. The laundry room was top notch. Judy also supplied many unexpected extras and was very responsive during our stay.

A great option for a family of parents, grandparents and siblings in town to attend Kenyon graduation!

Stayed here as a child and Matt had really updated the place. Wood floors. Roku tv. Sliding glass doors. The only thing is the appliances are a bit old so we had to run our clothes through the dryer a couple times and food cooked a bit uneven in the oven. But it was a wonderful experience. Quiet and beautiful. I will be back

Tony’s place offers so many things…sublime book selection for those who prefer to pontificate rather then watch TV or their phone. Wonderful place for a private time & families as well. (For kids lots to do farms with cows, pigs, goats variety of birds, gophers, maybe even a couple of woodchucks) see the tractors & cool things that the heart of America was built with… remind them what it was like before we all had cell phones. Make a memory that’ll last forever no phone needed! Fields for miles=literal kid paradise..after sitting in a car waiting to get there-turn them loose in the fields out back or let them go visit the bullfrogs in the front pond with Peepers chirping away Peaceful & very safe for couples, families & kids Pool, hot tub fun for everyone!! Matt was extremely easy to work with throughout the whole process. Answered all questions and quickly got back to us. Wish we could have enjoyed the area more, but we were there to celebrate a graduation so didn’t have much ‘extra’ time.

House looked newly remodeled or built. witch look like who ever did it did a good job. It had a cozy and clean interior just like pictures. the owner was pretty responsive and understanding of my problems when I had them. My only problem which where miner where we where out side a bit for normal outdoor yard games. where the ground was hard and dry. so it was a little unfavorable for some games. The other vary small thing was we wanted to do a movie night. But the living room could not accommodate the 5 people we had to well. (But the couch was vary nice) But all and all I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

This place was perfect for out group of six on a three-day getaway. The location is secluded, but not hard to get to. We really liked the spacious grounds and stocked fishing pond. The kitchen was well equipped with a nice professional gas range and plenty of cookware, utensils, etc. The bedrooms and baths were very clean and comfortable. The main living area was spacious and had a very nice TV viewing area. The patio with a large fire pit was right outside the lower level game room/bar and convenient half bath. Shane is a great host and, as an added bonus, his daughter offers a variety of baked goods for sale (highly recommended!). In short, everything met or exceeded our needs and we will likely be staying here again.

Heather was awesome! She responded right away and made sure we had no issues while in Ashland to see our son graduate Ashland University. When we needed a few extra spots for a little "Party" with the grandparents and sisters. Highly recommend to anyone going to Ashland area or Ashland University for a visit. Very close to campus! Will definitely stay again if available when we are in Ashland again!

Great place for a girl’s weekend away. Bedrooms, shared space, and kitchen were just what we needed. Loved the hot tub and fire pit space. We lost power for a couple hours one evening due to weather and the owners were immediately responsive, kept us updated with information from the power company, and came by with bottled water, extra battery powered lights, and a battery charger for our phones. The area is beautiful and we found a perfect trail nearby for a hike (also a trail connected to property). Would definitely return and recommend.

This place was amazing!!! If you are ever in the area and love peace and quiet this is the place for you !!!! This place takes you back to a slower time with passing horse and buggies the sounds of horse shoes clanking by. It reminds you that it is good to slow down and enjoy simple life. Thank you so much Laurel & Jonathon for sharing your home with us and the visits from the little long haired Datsun 😁.

Great place, clean and great coffee choice. Quiet and good view. Good lawn for the two yorkies to play. Good golf course across the road.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jodi's place. It was secluded and quiet with very little traffic. There was plenty of space for 5 of us and we used the hot tub both nights we were there. The gas grill was fantastic and we played plenty of games. We were a short drive from great hiking at Mohican and we had a chance to visit some of the other sites in the area. Jodi's instructions were clear, concise, and were sent well before our trip- we had no trouble finding the home or checking in. It was a very relaxing, enjoyable trip and we look forward to our next trip to the area.

Brenda was a great host, the property is very nice and well maintained! Lots of hikes and beautiful places to visit nearby. The campsite was flat and well maintained with a small fire pit and table. This is a great spot to get away from the crowded campgrounds near Mohican.
