“This was a truly amazing place to get away, reconnect and recharge. During the stress of everything going on, it was wonderful to be able to pack up our two large dogs and head out for a long weekend. The little home had everything you could want/ need. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower has amazing pressure, and the hot tub was perfect for 2! We were secluded enough that we felt completely alone, but if we needed supplies we could drive just down the road to shopping centers! Once things open back up, we would love to explore the towns and brewery’s. This place was truly an oasis in the woods. My favorite part were all the hiking trails/ adventures just a short drive away. Our dogs LOVED it, and we did too. We enjoyed it so much, we booked another weekend before ours was even up. Cannot wait to return!”

The Cabin at Maple View is located a quarter mile off of the highway down a long twisting driveway. It is tucked back in the woods and away from it all. “WOW! It couldn't have been better. We have traveled the world and visited every state. This was in the top three of anywhere we've been. The booking was easy. The cabin was fabulous--built by Amish and very tastefully decorated with cabin, woodsy themes that complemented the knotty pine walls in this sparking clean space. All the amenities were top notch. Nothing mediocre. Soaps, shampoo, conditioner, towels, bedding were all first class and high quality. Bed and fouton couch was excellent. Porch was a few feet from the forest that teemed with birds and other wildlife. Fire pit included all the wood and kindling for great evenings. Hosts Jared and Rita did it all and did it just right. We are telling all our friends and family. We wanted to stay longer and are planning at least TWO more stays in the next few months.”
Our Dunlap Hollow cottage is a quaint little cabin, surrounded by sandstone cliffs, beautiful forest, and a stream flowing through the ravine. The cottage is newly renovated, originally built in the 1920's, with all the modern day luxuries you could want, including a hot tub, tv, and wifi.
“Our stay at Dunlap Hollow was utter perfection. I was disappointed when I found out that the popular trails and attractions in the area were closed due to covid, but once we arrived, we didn’t even want to leave. There was such a deep level of peace and relaxation, like we had never experienced before. The cabin was perfect, the two trails on the property were just enough to get us out of the hammocks on the porch, but then we’d sink back in for more bird watching and deep relaxing. It was wonderful on every level. We highly highly recommend everyone to make the trip.”
