With us, you live 13 km from Uppsala C and 7 km from the E4, which takes you further towards Arlanda or Stockholm. 1000 meters from the accommodation, a bus goes directly to Uppsala C and during some summer days, you can take a steam train to the city with the museum railway Lennakatten. The guest house is located on the outskirts of Gunsta community, close to nature. In the area, there is the nice Stiernhielms Krog & Livs, where you can eat well or shop a little.

The house is located in an area between nature reserve so there are incredible nature experiences for those who want. We have a barbecue area by the sea that you can use. In a beautiful cultural-historical house from the 18th century on the Schramska farm in central Östhammar you will find the attendance floor. The former room for the store clerk is now carefully renovated into a comfortable home where the logs, linden reefs and plank floors are left, but now supplemented with a modern kitchen, washing machine, wifi and a bathroom. You are welcome to use the cozy garden and the pergola's outdoor furniture together with the host couple.

The nearest lake is Erken, where there are several different swimming areas and scenic areas. At the cottage, there is a wood-fired sauna. There is good bus communication to, for example, Stockholm or Grisslehamn for day trips. Norrtälje city is also a nice excursion destination.
