A very tastefully done villa, with an indoor private pool (sans water), excellent views of the fjord, and all wooden architecture and furniture inside. Squeaky clean and all amenities available. Best was the washing machine n the dryer that got clothes clean and fully dry (ready to wear), that helped us as it was raining throughout our stay. The only issue which also is manageable is it’s about 4/5 km from the city center. So either u have a self driven car or u go Uber. Uber costs about 300 Kr for each ride to city center, other option is taking a bus from about 1.5 km from the house. All in all a great stay that shall stay etched in our minds for long. This stay was one of the best I've been able to make thanks to this amazing place! Everything was perfect: very clean, super well-equipped, with a breathtaking view. Location is great, close to everything. Julia was very responsive, thoughtful, and really made sure we had everything there. We stayed 3 days, and honestly, the only regret is not staying longer. I would 100% recommend, and I really hope to be back very soon!

Our family of 5 adults thoroughly enjoyed Tommy’s place in Askoy. There was plenty of room for all of us to be together or have separate time. The house was immaculate and was so nicely equipped we were able to cook several family meals and enjoy them at home. It’s a short drive to Bergen and to the airport and there was plenty of close-by grocery and necessity shopping. Linens and towels were plentiful, fresh and new. Tommy even decorated for Easter so we could enjoy the holiday upon our arrival! So sweet! Highly recommended!!!!!

Romantic getaway in Salhus

Very nice and cosy place with amazing views over the mountains and sea. It was warm and friendly inside, while outside it was raining. Lots of space, homely atmosphere, nice garden for our dog. There was a ‘roof’ where we could sit outside despite the rain. The hill was indeed very steep. For us not a problem, but when you are not a good walker then it probably is. We would certainly recommend this spot.

Christopher was a fantastic host. He was very proactive and friendly. We even had a nice surprise bag with little gifts for us when we arrived. We immediately felt at home. The house was perfect for two families, there were some toys for the kids and they could run around.

We simply Loooved Emilie's and Elna's place. Such a priviledge that they shared their home with us. We didn't even want to explore much of the surroundings because it was simply exactly what we needed - watching the waves and water, the clouds and the everchanging weather (torrential rain, wind, sun - all in one day). Just what the doctor ordered! And we could watch that from the deck, but also from inside when the wind and cold got a bit too much outside ;) Even the boys just enjoyed hanging out. And in addition for the home to be so wonderful, Elna and Emilie are such wonderful hosts. They go way beyond and above anyone could expect of a host. We would love to come back.

Wow! Couldn’t ask for a better location! The apartment has a stunning view of the North Sea and the surroundings are quiet and peaceful. The apartment is beautifully decorated and had all the appliances we needed during our stay. Finally, Arve and Lydia were very kind and helpful with their recommandations. We would have loved to stay longer

Our family had a truly wonderful time during our stay. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The property and surroundings offered amazing views and was extremely quiet and peaceful. The property was perfectly located for our family to enjoy the tranquility of the location as well as close enough to the city for activities. Ole Petter was a wonderful host, always responsive to any questions we had and more than happy to provide recommendations to help us enjoy our stay.

Beautiful house, authentic, on the edge of the fjord. we had a car, so easy access all the necessary equipment is present, and the living room has a beautiful panoramic view of the fjord To get to Bergen center, the ferry is a 10-min drive away, which is great, the crossing takes 15 min. Recommended.
