The building located on 1140 Franklin Ave is a lovely home built in 1900 by ship builder Ferdinand Fisher and was established as a bed and breakfast in May of 1986. Astoria is such a historic town and every building has incredible architecture, history and a story. Every restoration seems to respect the era of the original structure and this reflects the beliefs of the town and its people and their commitment to Astoria’s history. I am in love with this town and hope you will too.

Tonquin's Rest is a beautiful private suite in the upstairs of a 1903 Victorian home in Astoria's tranquil Uppertown neighborhood. The home is located in walking distance to Pier 39, the Astoria Riverwalk and hiking trails. It is a 30 minute walk or 5 minute drive into downtown Astoria and a quick 25 minute drive to the beach. Watch the deer wander through the backyard as you drink your morning coffee on your private balcony.

My home is a 1948 post war tract home, simple in design yet unique in style as are surrounding homes in my neighborhood. Located near the top of a densely forested hill approximately 1.5 miles from historic downtown Astoria. An occasional ship horn and sea lions barking in the distance adds a certain ambiance to this otherwise peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Ample off street parking is available on an oversized double cement driveway with easy access to home entrance.
