Medieval Fort, Sud Ardèche stunning loft with pool

Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

The location is ideal for exploring the city (the metro is 5 minutes’ walk) and the trendy and authentic neighborhood of “la Croix Rousse” has numerous chic or bohemian restaurants, terraces, cafés, and shops and a daily food market. Charming 42 square metres loft (on the first floor) located in the heart of La Croix Rousse suburb, near the subway stop. You will appreciate the typical appartementf, specific to La Croix Rousse suburb including 4 metres high French ceiling in a quiet place with windows facing a private courtyard. The height of the mezzanine spaces is 1M78cm Changing mat, bed umbrella, highchair are available. The access is difficult for people with reduced mobility or disabilities.

The dressing room is a penthouse apartment, rooftop with upscale amenities. You can enjoy 60 m² for a maximum of 2 people, with a queen-size double bed. Comfort and tradition: exposed timber frame, air conditioning, fibre-optic internet and a range of TV channels, fully equipped kitchen, carefully selected décor, display of works of art, terrace, balcony, private parking available for an additional charge. Jacuzzi shared with La Tour, our other apartment.

You will be charmed by the volume of this apartment, with its stone wall and French ceiling. Furnished in an open space loft style, it can accommodate up to 4 people. Its 3.80 m ceiling height gives it a unique atmosphere. Its architecture is typical of the listed district of Croix-Rousse, a true cradle of the 'Canuts', name of the Lyonnais weaving workers. Located 200 m from the metro, close to the hyper center, you can easily visit the whole city!

Baptisé "Un Autre Monde", this atypical place is installed in an old printing press, close to the city center. You have more than 250 m2 of fully equipped and personalised spaces with the unique furniture I create. You also have a games room and a relaxation area (by reservation and shared with the other apartments). A large garage allows you to park at least 3 cars and motorcycles. You will have a garden by the river accessible by a few steps.
