Holiday rentals with a pool in Avalon

Post did a fantastic job making sure that we had a great day if you’re looking for a beautiful house and a very affordable price one of the best ones in Orange County for sure

This was an AMAZING stay! Our 5 kids had an absolute blast in the pool, and, loved the rooms (and own TV! HA!) The life jackets and pool towels were really helpful, especially for pool and beach days. We loved the large couch and watched a ton of family movies. The kids also really enjoyed all the games provided, especially the large Jenga game :) The location of this home was PERFECT... Easy to get to Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Huntington Beach, Irvine. Everything felt like it was within a 20 minutes drive. There's also a local grocery store that we frequented often! Our only wish is that there had been a BBQ, but, otherwise, literally had anything and everything we could have hoped for or needed!

Kameko and Ryan were fantastic hosts and I absolutely loved staying at their beautiful newly renovated house. I stayed with my husband, 3 year old, 1 year old, and our nanny. The house is absolutely gorgeous inside AND out!! I think my favorite part was probably the backyard area to be honest, which I wasn’t even expecting. There’s a nice shaded patio to sit at with an outdoor fireplace, then sunny areas, not to mention the pool and the grassy area! It was perfect for our family and we probably spent as much time outside as we did inside. Also Kameko is extremely nice and quickly responded whenever we had questions. I love how personal their house decorations were, still upscale and nice but lots of personal touches. You really feel right at home! I stayed here to take my kids to Disney and I did a day trip to LA, it was the perfect spot. Easy access to Irvine Spectrum too. I would definitely stay here again!

The house was clean and well-maintained, and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Our dog had a great time playing in the backyard by the pool.

Great place to stay with a large family

Beautiful place to be!! Jennifer was soooo helpful and responsive, probably the most I’ve ever had with an airbnb host! It rained most of the days we were in California but thankfully the house was so cozy we had a wonderful time even with the rain. The house is in a peaceful neighborhood, the backyard is calm and has birds that come and sing, lots of supplies in the kitchen, and the baby supplies were helpful - pack and play, high chair, kid friendly plates and bowls. 15 min to downtown Disney and 25-35 min to a few different beaches. 5 min to a park with a playground where our son loved watched the ducks. Would stay here again! Highly recommend :)

We had a wonderful time staying at Shayla‘s place! This truly was a respite for us after our days at Disney. It was only 15 to 20 minutes away from the parks! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the pool was beautiful to look at. The weather was a bit chilly so we didn’t spend a lot of time in the backyard. Overall, the home was perfect for us. The only thing I would like to mention for future guests is to bring flat sheets if you like those on your beds. We just had a Walmart grocery delivery order delivered (right to the front porch) and purchased them for our stay.

We had a delightful stay at Sue’s place. Right in the heart of town, with easy access to beaches, Main Street, and all the highlights of Seal Beach. Bedrooms were as-described and comfortable. The great room on the second floor is large, light and bright, with a nice “living room” sitting area with two facing couches adjacent to a “dining room” with a full-sized dining table. The kitchen is beautiful, large and very well-equipped — we hosted guests on several occasions and loved the setup for cooking and serving. Yes, the beach is a 3 minute walk, but having your own pool and small yard for sunbathing is the best of both worlds. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place to relax and have fun. Look forward to the visit every year. Best way to do Catalina is at Blake’s. I’ve stayed at many properties all over Catalina and this property is definitely me and my family’s favorite. Blake is always a great host and I look forward to spending time at his property every year.

Overall stay was amazing, with beautiful views. Check in went smooth thanks to the host explaining everything beforehand. I would recommend downloading the Circuit app for transportation from the check-in location to Hamilton Cove. Circuit transportation is a lot cheaper than catching a taxi. The Hamilton Cove unit is a well-maintained updated condo. The unit does come with a golf cart which is a bit worn, however it got us around the island during our stay. The views from the unit are spectacular and it’s a quiet community. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely Stunning views. After I walked in and put my stuff down, I had to just sit on the foot of the bed staring out of the window to the beach in absolute awe. Paradise from the balcony and every window. I just took it all in. I went for my birthday weekend with the kids and it was worth every penny, especially with the golf cart included. The kitchen is fully furnished with pots, pans, plates, cups, electric hand mixer, and even seasonings etc. There's ice in the freezer and extra towels for the pool in the living room. Pull out couch. The pool is really close to this particular unit. The stairs are crazy going up, so again, I highly recommend this unit because it's not far from the golf cart/pool/Jacuzzi area. We wasted a lot of time trying to figure out the jammed lock box on the front door, FYI the door is unlocked up on arrival. But because at&t doesn't work in Avalon we were unable to call a taxi to leave. Heaters, beach chairs, board games included too! We'll be back!!

Lauren was a phenomenal host the pictures dont do it justice this location offers spectacular views our host made us feel right at home and offered food stop recommendations the cove offers very private stay was super clean, the jacuzzi was definitely a plus after a long day of exploring the island not to mention the golf cart that help us zoom around the scenic route would definitely recommend if you want the best views in catalina island .

Beautiful complex with gorgeous views and lots of nice amenities. Loved staying at Hamilton Cove in Catalina Island. Looks like a village on a Greek island, quaint, charming and peaceful.

The place was amazing, with breathtaking views. The check in was easy and simple, and the place was clean. The golf cart was a great plus and super helpful with getting around the island. I would definitely love to stay here again.

Great apartment with a fantastic view. Andre and Leslie were very responsive and kind, even got us an early check in. The taxi from the ferry to the apartment is a nice perk. Highly recommend!
