Cosy farmhouse near a forest and a lake

We have renovated our farmhouse with knowledge of building maintenance, the environment and sustainability. The beautiful colours of egg oil tempera adorn the walls and genuine linseed oil paint is a matter of course in a house from the late 19th century. Nice tiled stoves heat nicely and the kitchen is large and spacious In winter, there are great conditions for cross-country and downhill skiing at Romme Alpin. An approximately 8 km long skating rink is plowed on our lake with a connection approximately 100 metres from the farm. The house is located near the towns of Falun and Borlänge.

Stay in the countryside in a fantastic natural environment, but still close to everything you want during your stay in Dalarna. 100 meters down to a small lake. Home closer to the water is hard to find. Taking the boat or in winter time going out to Holmen outside to grill and watch the sunset is an extra plus. 2 supboard available for rent, as well as electric motor to the boat. In the summer, cattle sometimes pass by nearby, and you may then need to open and close fences to get to the cottage. The Internet works well with mobile broadband. Winter info: Romme Alpin and Kungsberget are slalom slopes 65 km away. Ryllshyttebacken is a nice family hill 12 km away.
