Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Babergh District

Carol was extremely helpful and friendly. She was a great communicator and gave us lots of recommendations to do whilst in the area. Carol's house is is a great base for a holiday in this area.

Had a great family weekend staying in this beautiful home. The ground floor en suite bedroom was ideal for my elderly parents with 3 further ensuite rooms upstairs for the rest of the family. We cooked in both evenings and found all the equipment we needed in the beautiful, well equipped kitchen. Then simply enjoyed sitting around the dining table together. The house is truly beautiful with very comfortable beds and is in an equally beautiful area. We really hope we'll find an opportunity to visit again!

Had a fantastic stay. The cottage was just like a home from home. The garden like something straight from the secret garden book! Wanda was extremely welcoming of our dogs! Would highly recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jo’s place. The annex was so clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed, plus more! The croissants, bread, chocolates, wine, juice and yoghurts Jo left us were a lovely touch, as were the treats for our dog! We also enjoyed the use of the exercise equipment. The area is absolutely stunning. Thank you Jo - we had a lovely weekend!

This home is the ideal place to pause, reflect and re-set! Just what any couple needs for time away the kids and adulting in general. The village is beautiful with lovely pubs and friendly community. Highly recommended for relaxation ⭐️

What can I say , a brilliant experience from start to finish! Lyndsay was a great host , super responsive and helpful throughout , with lots of helpful information regarding the property and surrounding area. The place itself was fantastically decorated and lovely and light , and there was more than enough room for us all (6 Adults and 4 Children). The Kitchen Dining area is a brilliant space to spend time together. The Garden is huge and an ideal outdoor space for games , a bbq or drinks in the Sun , and the garage having a Pingpong table and additional games too was a nice touch. Heating controls were very easy to use and once set , the place soon warms up quickly. It was very easy to find and there is plenty of parking space and the local pub is just a short walk through the churchyard. We chose to have lunch there and it was dead nice and reasonably priced. Overall , Lyndsay was fantastic and so was the Accommodation, the only negative was having to leave! 😁

We had a wonderful stay. The flat is really close to the beach and looks even better in reality than the pictures. And Barbara is a fabulous host- very responsive, and she was really helpful about a couple of matters.

We had a lovely weekend at Walton on the Naze. The apartment is extremely clean, cosy and homely. The location is excellent, close to the beach and High Street.

Lovely, peaceful and spacious flat with vintage touches, in a very central location close to restaurants, shops, the seafront and the many walks and places to visit around Aldeburgh. Great for couples or families. Managing Agents very responsive to any requests. Would highly recommend!

Lovely cosy flat with everything you needed with lovely surroundings. Julia was a great very friendly host very helpful. Really enjoyed our stay would recommend her flat as a great place to stay.

We loved this place, brilliant wrap around veranda, spacious airy rooms, peaceful but with most of the appliances from home...even a tv in the bedroom! The kitchen is great but if you don't fancy cooking there is the hotel 10 mins walk away with two bars serving food and if you go after 7pm you can call for a shuttle to take you there and back for free. It's like getting a lovely break in the country with tv, WiFi and a pub/ restaurant nearby if you get bored of all the nature! The staff at the hotel were lovely and the food was great.

We really enjoyed our stay at Robert and Lorraine's house. The flat is right opposite the beach which is amazing. The flat was very clean. Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of clean towels which was very handy. overall a very positive experience.

The “Cowshed “was perfect for our stay. Situated in the grounds of a beautiful old farmhouse with a majestic in and out drive. The pub across the road does amazing food with excellent sevice.(try the pie for 2 😋) Jacky was a friendly and attentive host. Would definitely stay there again next time I’m in the area. Damian was very helpful and could not do enough to ensure we had everything we needed. The property is beautiful, all be it not as big as it seems from the pictures. There isn’t a games room but a games area within the main living space - which is still great. It does need a slight spruce up in areas to really give it a complete deluxe/luxury wow feeling. Cinema room is excellent, garden and view is fantastic and there is sky tv in most rooms, beds aren’t king size and sofa beds in living room are really hard futon types so wouldn’t personally use them and would only book by bed number if we came back - which we definitely would! Overall great host and beautiful property which does as it describes. Thanks Damian for all your help during our visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were in Suffolk for a 3 day wedding as an extended family group and the house was the perfect base. The house is very comfortable- especially the beds - and everything has been thought of. It is also very very clean. The courtyard is beautiful. We would thoroughly recommend!

We had a lovely stay in West Mersea this weekend. The airbnb is in a perfect location, with a short walk down to the beach. The property is beautiful and spacious and the projector is incredible! Tony and Mas were wonderful hosts and were easily contactable throughout our stay. Highly recommend.

Fabulous house in a beautiful area. House was incredibly well equipped and everything was a really high quality. Loads of essentials in the fridges and high end toiletries in all bathrooms. Cant recommend Jacqui enough as a wonderful host. And really dog friendly.
