The stilt house is raised from the ground, windy, dry but still close to the forest. From the house, the view opens to the stream, unobstructed. In the early morning, I saw water, rocks, moss and a thin mist drifting slowly. At night, the yellow light was just enough, the sound of insects mixed with the smell of wood and the smell of humid forest.
