A lovely older home, newly renovated with up-to-date modern style and amenities. Lovely gathering spaces in living, dining, kitchen and two outdoor eating spaces. Bedrooms had room darkening shades which are important in June. Great location for tourists visiting Oslo, short distance to bus and tram systems that can take you most wherever you want to go. A great variety of restaurants in the area. Our group of adults was in town for a family wedding and some sight-seeing, so we never cooked in the kitchen and instead we ate lunch and dinner out and about every day. This home is also well suited to families with kids. Christian, our host, was very nice, helpful and responsive to our questions.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Julie and Christian’s home for 2 weeks. The hosts were very gracious and responsive, providing us with recommendations and always available when we had questions. The house has ample windows with gorgeous natural light. My two kids, 2 and 5 years old, loved the playroom and trampoline, as well as their lush garden. The location on Bygdøy can’t be beat; a stones throw away from trails to take you to the different beaches, the grocery store is very close, as well as the bus stop to take you to the city. And, if you decide to go for a walk at dusk, you might be fortunate enough to cross paths with baby deer or a fox. We’d stay again in a heartbeat. It felt like a home away from home in the best way.

Beautiful AirBnB that fit our group of 14 very comfortably! It was a short walk to the public tram making it easy to get around Oslo and see the sites.

We were with seven friends for five days with Jonas and his family. In particular, we would like to highlight the location and the great views. If you want some peace and quiet but still want to see something of Oslo, it is just perfect. Go swimming in the morning, and then take the ferry 20 minutes directly to the center of Oslo. The house is fully equipped, you will find everything you need. Emelie even got towels. Of course, there is also hot water. Coffee maker with ground beans. Bring your own shampoo. Hairdryer, music boxes & basic spices are provided. The garden and views are fantastic. There is a grill and a bunch of toys and even a SUP. With a toddler it was a bit difficult, because there was no baby chair or bed & we had to bring all the decor items to safety. With older children, however, the house is perfect.

John was very helpful, flexible and willing. We will be more than happy to come back.

Great place for a family. It was close enough that we could easily get to the city, but in the evenings we were able to relax at the house and there was plenty of things to entertain the kids. The pool and back yard were a great addition after dragging the kids around all day to see things they too were able to unwind as the adults enjoyed the patio and conversation. Great recommendations from the host and super helpful as our flight was delayed and we had to check in 6 hours later than planned, but check in was super easy.

Nice place, quiet surroundings. The whole house stood up to expectations. Cheerful hosts who answered our questions and helped us with tips on local attractions.
