The house is located at the highest point of the island overlooking the sea towards Nesodden and Bærum. There are good sun conditions and a lot of outdoor space. The plot is on 10 acres, mostly nature plot, some grass and bedd. The country house consists of a main house w/cool walk and an outhouse/storage as well as a seaside bathhouse. The house is from the 1920s, but refurbished 2020. Ostøya is a lovely gem in inner Oslofjord, it is one of the largest and most lush islands in the Oslo fjord. One of the really great easily accessible island gems in the Oslo fjord from the mainland. You get here easily with a car/bus to the cable ferry. The island is also a favorite spot for locals who use the island for hiking, camping, boating, fishing and training trips. On Fridays, someone at the old “pig house” that is made into a banquet room.

Two kayaks and SUP available for trips to the fjord. There is also a jacuzzi with a lovely view inwards towards Oslo.

Rekkehus med 8 sengeplasser fordelt på 4 soverom med 2 på hvert. Huset er vanligvis bebodd av pappa og tre barn i alderen 5, 9 og 13 år. Huset er ryddig, men bærer samtidig preg av å være bebodd og det vil være begrenset med plass for å legge/henge klær, da skap ikke tømmes før utleie. Det ryddes god plass i kjøleskap, men heller ikke dette tømmes helt i forkant av utleie.
