Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Bagaces

What an amazing experience at GAR! The rescue and the surrounding area are truly beautiful and it's cooler than the beaches! Luis, Mailyn, Ronald and Jose take such great care of the animals and property! There's so much to do: horse back riding, ATVs, hikes, and interacting with the animals that are clearly happy to be there. The sunsets seen from the rescue are truly spectacular. Just a short drive from the property are hot springs, waterfalls, rain forests, sloth viewing tours, and a national park with amazing hikes and views. The small town of Guayabo offers groceries, a great restaurants and even a swim up bar! For offsite activities we recommend a local tour guide, Dediere Cascante! He speaks English quite well and is one friendly and knowledgeable local, long attached to GAR. The villas are clean, spacious, and well appointed. Do not hesitate to book some time at GAR -it will forever be in our hearts! We even managed to adopt one of the puppies and bring her home!

Plenty of room for two families (4 adults and 5 kids). The place was just as Allan described and just like the pictures. Everything was very clean & well organized with everything we needed. Kids had a fantastic time in the pool. We saw monkeys in the evening and in the morning. It was the perfect place for the first part of our Costa Rica vacation.

Casita Chorotega was clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay here next time.

There are many rio chiquitos in Costa Rica. I would highly recommend following the location Mel sends you prior to leaving and taking snap shots of the map. With that being said, the location is easy to get to once you’ve already been there or if you’re familiar with the place. Incredible service. Anghy was the kindest human! She paid attention to our 3 yo and spoke to her kindly and with so much love. She showed us around and pointed out the animals in their natural habitat without forcing the animals into interacting with us. The house was clean and the food was delicious.

We had a great and relaxing stay at the ranch. We enjoyed some lovely food, horseback riding and the hike around the property while we were here. Leonardo and Jorge were very responsive. Would definitely recommend!

I recommend this place. The host is super responsive, responds immediately and is aware of the guest's needs. The house is cozy and with everything you need for a stay without any setback.

The house was convenient, clean, and comfortable — we felt right at home throughout our stay. Having a mini market just around the corner was a plus, and ordering from Uber Eats and Pedidos Ya was easy and reliable when we didn’t feel like cooking.

This is a great location if you want to be in the Rincon de la viaje area. Very close to Hacienda Guachipelin and their tours. The house is comfortable and clean and Victor is very responsive and helpful with suggestions.
