Small rural stone house restored with private garden and parking, offers tranquillity and a stunning view to Serra da Freita and Frecha da Mizarela waterfall. Great starting point to reach the remote hills of Freita, where you can enjoy long hikes, river baths or simply visit the geological and archaeological sites of Arouca Geopark. Located in a small rural village in the hills, nearby you can find a grocery store and good restaurant with local gastronomy. Porto city is just 50 min away by car.

River Beaches & Mountains

Cantinho nas Secarias is a local accommodation, next to the Alva River, and the natural and unique Cascalheira River Beach, surrounded by extraordinary beauty, where the sound of birds is the predominant melody. The house is divided into two totally independent parts, one of which is inhabited by the owner. It is an open space with beds, a living room and fireplace, a bathroom and kitchen. The exterior is large with a garden; barbecue; table and chairs; swing; small vegetable garden and garden.

Quinta Ivonne: Off-Grid Nature Guesthouse

Our cosy off-grid guesthouse is located in a forest area among olive and pine trees, surrounded by peace and nature. The accommodation is fully self-sufficient through solar energy and groundwater. In the large natural garden, you will find a (shared) saltwater swimming pool. There are also three camper spots on the property, but thanks to the spacious layout, everyone has their own place in nature. Guests can order a fresh breakfast, a hot meal, or even a relaxing massage upon request.

Charming bungalow on a Manor with Pool and Garden

The holiday bungalow (70 m²) is situated in Branca on a property that also includes an ancient villa. Aveiro is 30 km away, Porto 50 km and Coimbra 65 km. There are three terraces at your disposal: a small private terrace bordered by hedges, a large communal terrace with a barbecue and seating, and a roof terrace from which you can see the sea in the distance. The 5,000 m² lower garden features walking paths, countless trees, a fish pond, fountains and a little brook.

Rustic house with patio, where you can have fragrant barbecues after a dip in the river beach of the bogueira, which is a 3-minute walk away. With thick stone walls, it is quite cool in the summer. With no stairs, it is perfect for people with mobility issues and children, although your 4-legged friend will also love it. Your car can be parked in the village park, which is 100 meters from the house. ATTENTION: Ceiling height of 1.86 cm in some parts of the house

A few kilometers from Viseu and Arouca. Only an hour form the amazing Ponte 516 Arouca and Passadiços do Paiva. The nearest airport is the Porto airport.
