Holiday rentals with lake access in Bairrada DOC

As a group of 8 people (young people), we can only thank you for the welcome, the friendliness and the wonderful space. Even in January, we did not resist a swim 😝 we intend to return!

The house is still better than it looks in the photos and description. Large and comfortable, with all that may be needed. Outside space is great, we were 10 people and there were spaces for everyone, the deck has wonderful views where we spend the afternoons and space for the kids to play and play in the ball. The beds were comfortable and as they were on the upper floor allow a separation of noise on the lower floor. Carlos has always been available, was a great host, with quick responses and always available. it is a place to return in a group.

This is a one of a kind experience! Outside terrace with the grill is a wonderful spot to kick back, have a drink and enjoy the sunset. Beautiful old furniture and accessories that make you look twice. Beds are a little short for me with my 1,98 meter. But there is one without a foot board, so I still could stretch my legs. Kitchen provides you with everything you’ll need. If you visit during winter, bring some warm socks; the floor can get chilly. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely week at the house and the surrounding nature. The house was beautifully located, well equipped and clean! Although we had very rainy weather during our stay, we still enjoyed beautiful hikes and the house offered a cosy refuge for us. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone else. Thank you for the hospitality António!

Wonderful, restored (now modern with nice furnishings) mill house. Very charming with lovely outdoor sitting areas and garden. Nice living room overlooking the river. Good location for visiting Coimbra and the schist villages and for doing nice hikes in the hills. Nice to have four mountain bikes to explore on. David was very responsive and provided good local recommendations.

My stay was just what I needed: a couple of peaceful days in the pristine mountains of Portugal. Very well, equipped kitchen, very comfy bed and nice linens …the host left me some vegetables and fruit from garden, which was amazing. A couple of stunning fireplaces in the house that I used every night Just enjoyable. Thank you.

It was extraordinary! The kids really loved their stay thanks to all the care for them in the accommodation. Despite the rain, no one got bored! The place is beautiful, quiet place and so close to the city and attractions. We loved the best place to stay to date with kids.

The apartment was so cozy, we were grateful for the little local treats that were left for us it was such a nice touch. The apartment was clean and had a beautiful view of the river from the bedroom windows. The small town was quaint and we enjoyed immensely walking around trying all the amazing restaurants and enjoying the beach. My family and I can’t wait to visit this amazing place again soon!!! Thank you for an amazing little getaway!!

Spacious apartment, very very well-equipped. We feel welcomed by the decorative touches and touches (small slippers await you at the entrance). The host is available to meet expectations. Very professional rental. Only small point to improve, the bedding of the king size bed, otherwise everything else is perfect.

Great 2 days in this beautiful home. Everything was perfect and great location. There was all around restaurants, butchers, pastries, sandy beach behind and in front the view of the water canal. I felt at home in the apartment . There was a beautiful luminost and it was very well-equipped. I will definitely return to Costa Nova. Thank you for everything Carlos.

Very quiet apartment, total silence, impeccable cleaning the very comfortable bed which makes it easy and very much the rest. The apartment is a 15-minute walk from the baths that is done quietly by the river, communication was easy and quick, I highly recommend staying in this dwelling.

8 of us had an amazing week at Ria Surf House. The pool area was perfect for us adults and kids! Mariana was very helpful and responsive. Fab meals at the snack bar and Casa das Enguias. We didn’t have a car but Mariana put us in touch with a lovely local taxi driver who ensured we could get around when not walking. Also took the train to Porto and Aveiro, great days out. The beach was amazing - a walk through a forest to get there - a wild and remote feel. Many thanks!

Staying with Jorge was a very different experience. It's a historic place and in an amazing location. Both the building has its physical structure with these very unique characteristics linked to the history of Condexa and his lifestyle, as well as being in front of a historical area with more than 2,000 years made by the Romans gives a totally different air for the lodging. Not to mention that the location is perfect for those who will use a base to rotate the region of Coimbra, Coninbriga, Pombal and others in the surrounding area. Countryside climate with easy access, excellent location and a good structure for a great stay , as well as easy and responsive communication with Jorge. Thanks for our hosting. ALOHA!

Beautiful house, tastefully decorated, spacious and very clean. Very kind owner. Located in rural area, on the edge of Ria Aveiro. Pleasant pedestrian and cycling trail 2 steps away. On the shoreline of the lagoon. The city of Aveiro and the ocean beaches 15 minutes' drive away. Really great house.

This is a great space in a real out-of-the-way part of Portugal. Tired of big city tourism? Try this property. Tiny villages dot the hills and you get an old world sense of Portugal here. The pool is the real star of the property here (as are Eric's three dogs, one of which lounged with us each morning) as it overlooks he view of the river. We did use the kayaks as well. It is hard to get to them down a very steep hill with ladders and a bit of minor repelling. Not for those with a bad knee or hip. Which gets me to, accessing the apartments, particularly the lower unit, is tricky. Steep, slanting and uneven steps that can be a little slippery. Perhaps not for the elderly. Hint for improvement would be to upgrade the furnishings and kitchenware. The knives couldn't cut an orange.
