In our homestay studios, you can recharge your batteries and unwind in a warm and relaxing atmosphere in the spacious, luxurious studios (see also De Gierzwaluw). The Grutto is equipped with box spring, seating, workspace, kitchenette and private bathroom. In the sunny garden, there are patio areas and a covered bike store. Situated in a rural village, surrounded by beautiful forests and lakes, you can enjoy the diverse natural environment and also the lively town centre with shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Private parking for 3 cars and space to moor your own boats (16-meter jetty). 4 bikes for your use. Patio on the water, with comfortable seating arrangement for relaxed alfresco dining. For infants: the garden is completely fenced off, with safety locks on the gates. There is a baby cot and a highchair for your use.

Atmospheric and spacious farmhouse Friesland

Our beautifully rebuilt farmhouse is located in Sondel, the first village behind Lemmer, even before Balk in the Gaasterland, Southwest Friesland. A lovely place for a family weekend or a weekend with friends. There is a spacious well-equipped kitchen to cook with each other, a large dining table, spacious garden, an outdoor BBQ (gas). The Gaasterland is known for its forests and lakes for walking, cycling, sailing and horseback riding. There are also several golf courses in the vicinity.

Our foresthouse Bambi is built in 2024, and located in the middle of the forests of Gaasterland, close to Oudemirdum. A nice house for a beautiful stay in a natural environment with friends or family! The house is fully furnished with a spacious living room with open kitchen, wood stove and patio doors to a large terrace. There are three bedrooms, a bathroom with rain shower, separate toilet and fully equipped kitchen. There is also a washing-drying machine and wood-burning stove.

Cycling through the Gaasterland forests, sailing, sloops, supping, swimming in the water bottles or walking through the farmlands. 15 min to Sneek, Lemmer or Stavoren, the Jopie Huisman museum in Workum, skating museum in Hindeloopen or the shipping museum in Sneek. Enjoy your well-deserved rest here. Treat yourself and enjoy a delicious meal.

Welcome to our Friesebedstee, a detached holiday home on a small, green holiday park in the heart of Gaasterland. Rolling forests, lakes and cycling routes are right on your doorstep. Inside, a bright living room with a fireplace. Outside, a spacious, private garden and a shared natural swimming pool on the park. Three bikes are ready to go. Ideal for families and nature lovers who want peace and quiet without ever getting bored. And yes, your dog is very welcome too.

Casa Sloten, beautiful house on Elfstedenroute

Relax completely in this unique and charming accommodation. The picturesque city (!) Sloten has only 700 inhabitants, but the town is still a party to visit because of its fantastic and cozy monumental buildings and restaurants, the small but intriguing museum and beautiful hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. As one of the Frisian Eleven Cities, Sloten is also an ideal base for water sports enthusiasts and (in winter) skating trips on the Slotermeer.

Spacious wet cell with toilet, shower and sink. A spacious sitting area to relax after a nice day out. In fine weather, you can enjoy a nice spot on the waterfront.

Do you want the luxury of a hotel room, but the space of a vacation home? Then our guesthouse is just right for you. Freshly ironed linens, wonderfully soft towels, and recently we have also been able to offer care products from the well-known brand Rituals. Add to that the ambiance of Woudsend, the beautifully finished cottage and the pleasant courtyard of the guest house, then your (mini)vacation is complete!

Monumental house on the water

This 1750 national monument with a spacious garden and private berth is located on the water in Woudsend. A cozy water sports village between the Heegermeer and the Slotermeer. A house that is equipped with all comforts. In the garden, it is wonderful to sit under the umbrella with a view of the boats sailing by. Enjoy the evening with a drink by the magma garden fireplace. In the barn is an infrared sauna.

Villa Scorpio: holiday home near forest and lake!

Villa Scorpio is a 6-12-person holiday home at Villapark Mooi Gaasterland, suitable for small groups and families. The warm villa has a large kitchen, fully equipped, a spacious living room with large sitting and dining area to eat and an extra reading and playroom. In total there are 8 bedrooms (4 2-person and 4 1-person) all with their own bathroom. Bed linen and towels for all guests provided!!

De Luts, a charming cottage located on the edge of the forest.

Charming small terraced house on its own plot, located on the edge of the woods. Also suitable for longer periods (registration not possible). It is quite and rural here. The well-known village of Balk, with its shops and small harbour, is just 2 km away. You can hike and bike beautifully here. Pets and/or children not allowed. Maximum two people, who can sleep separately if necessary (sofa bed).
