Cozy vacation cottage in Woudsend

A lovely, cosy (with complete privacy) holiday cottage in the beautiful Frisian water sports village of Woudsend. The village is located in the heart of the Frisian lake district. You will be staying with the harbour master of Woudsend, Corine. The cottage's flower garden (butterfly garden) offers plenty of privacy and is situated right below the 't Lam' corn mill. Come here to unwind with your loved one, away from the hustle and bustle. You will find peace and quiet, and you will be woken by the sounds of tits, blackbirds and sparrows (and sometimes, on Sundays, by the church bells). In our homestay studios, you can recharge your batteries and unwind in a warm and relaxing atmosphere in the spacious, luxurious studios (see also De Gierzwaluw). The Grutto is equipped with box spring, seating, workspace, kitchenette and private bathroom. In the sunny garden, there are patio areas and a covered bike store. Situated in a rural village, surrounded by beautiful forests and lakes, you can enjoy the diverse natural environment and also the lively town centre with shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Private parking for 3 cars and space to moor your own boats (16-meter jetty). 4 bikes for your use. Patio on the water, with comfortable seating arrangement for relaxed alfresco dining. For infants: the garden is completely fenced off, with safety locks on the gates. There is a baby cot and a highchair for your use.

Our foresthouse Bambi is built in 2024, and located in the middle of the forests of Gaasterland, close to Oudemirdum. A nice house for a beautiful stay in a natural environment with friends or family! The house is fully furnished with a spacious living room with open kitchen, wood stove and patio doors to a large terrace. There are three bedrooms, a bathroom with rain shower, separate toilet and fully equipped kitchen. There is also a washing-drying machine and wood-burning stove.

Enjoy Woudsend - 6-person vacation home

Lovely 6-person vacation home in the meadows and on the open water in the heart of the Frisian lakes. Not suitable for groups of young people. Our house is in a unique location, between the meadows and directly on the open water. Here you immediately get the holiday feeling! From the beautiful garden, you have a wide view, you can sit in the sun on one of the two terraces by the water, swim in front of the door and from the private jetty (12m) you can sail onto the Frisian lakes.

Welkom in ons unieke tiny house, verscholen in een privébos aan de rand van het charmante Friese dorp Noordwolde. Deze moderne accommodatie is ideaal voor rustzoekers en natuurliefhebbers. Geniet in de zomer van je ruime prive tuin met zitgedeelte, een veranda en een hangmat tussen de bomen. In de winter zit je heerlijk knus binnen bij de houtkachel die de ruimte binnen no-time verwarmd. De tinyhouse is compact maar van alle gemakken voorzien!

Monumental house on the water

This 1750 national monument with a spacious garden and private berth is located on the water in Woudsend. A cozy water sports village between the Heegermeer and the Slotermeer. A house that is equipped with all comforts. In the garden, it is wonderful to sit under the umbrella with a view of the boats sailing by. Enjoy the evening with a drink by the magma garden fireplace. In the barn is an infrared sauna.

De Luts, a charming cottage located on the edge of the forest.

Charming small terraced house on its own plot, located on the edge of the woods. Also suitable for longer periods (registration not possible). It is quite and rural here. The well-known village of Balk, with its shops and small harbour, is just 2 km away. You can hike and bike beautifully here. Pets and/or children not allowed. Maximum two people, who can sleep separately if necessary (sofa bed).

Marina Cabin with boat

Our cozy wooden cabin is located in the Southwest of Friesland. Placed in the corner of the marina that is right next to the second largest lake in Friesland this place offers a beautiful view. It is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday close to the water. We believe that going on the water is a beautiful and unique experience. Therefore we offer our little boat with the house for free!
