Lovely private place with a large fenced backyard which was great for our children and dogs. Would definitely stay again.

Warm welcoming and well equipped perfectly describes this house. The minute you walk in you feel comfortable and at home. It is also spotless! Jane was very helpful always prompt with any responses and fixed a minor problem we had immediately. Cannot rate more highly, throughly recommend for any length of stay in Ballarat. Five stars!

We had a fantastic stay in Bella's gorgeous cottage. The house had everything we needed, was very comfortable and close to everything. We would definitely recommend and will return if we're ever in Ballarat again. Bella was a very friendly host and was super obliging with check-in and check-out times.

This is an excellent house in a quiet street, close driving distance to shops. Pizza Hut does deliver there . House is very cute and has room for many . Clean and comfortable

Big house, it’s bigger than the pictures and was perfect for our large working group. Plenty of separate space for everyone to have their own space.

Our extended family just spent the week at Calando Hill. It felt like being at an exclusive 5 Star resort in regional Victoria. This included the plush bathrobes, fantastic amenities such as the pool, entertainment system, billiard table, cooks kitchen and beautiful interiors. The house itself is enormous, but felt cosy and inviting. The views all around are spectacular… and if you like solitude, this is the perfect place. We also managed to fit in a winery visit, hike to a beautiful waterfall and lunch at the local pub in Loxton. This place has something for everyone, and to top it off it’s dog friendly! Thanks Richard and Anita for welcoming us, I am definitely planning a return trip!

We had a beautiful stay at Daylesford in Chalet Noir! A luxurious, modern space with everything we needed. Pristine facilities and not too far from the main strip! Very friendly and responsive hosts, thankyou!:)

What an absolutely beautiful place! It was sweltering hot when we stayed and yet the beauty of the house , its entertaining area and the furnishings inside and out were so mind blowingly beautiful the chest was quickly forgotten. Whoever owns the house is very cultured, well travelled and has an eye and we are very grateful that they share it with people like us. Beautiful. And the restaurants nearby are exceptional. We ate at Sault and it was better than most Melbourne restaurants in our opinion.

Our large family stayed in the beautiful house, there was so much to do and explore in such little time we hope to revisit in the near future. The kids had a blast in the pool and we were luckily to have great weather the house kept cold for all to enjoy. Thanks again to Kirstie, we can’t wait to book again.

There is so much more to the property than what is advertised. Stunning views of the valley from deck and master room. Outside area offers a huge space for entertaining and fury friends, combination of both deck and grass!. House was great size for a party of 6, plenty of space ie living , dinning area and spacious bedrooms. Pool great size and accommodating, not heated was a tad on the cold size but the weather sadly didn’t help with heating it up. Location is perfect!! for local amenities and popping into Daylesford itself. It is the country so unwanted guests did appear, part of the experience I say. Communication was superb from host, book with confidence! Great gem just outside of Daylesford.

Lucy's home was just amazing. Everything we wanted to see and do was close by, though we had such a quiet and serene location away from the hustle and bustle. It was great coming home from a fun day out to have a swim in the outdoor above ground pool and then relax on the sun lounges. We had fun playing tennis and basketball on the full sized court in the yard and sitting in the alfresco area at dinnertime. Every detail was thought out well, from the beautfiul linens, abundant quality towels and toiletries, fragrant candles and quality furnishings. We would love to come back one day again.

Bindu's place was very comfortable and a great layout for two families to stay. The pool and spa were great to distract the kids all weekend. It was an easy 5 min drive to the local shopping centre and only about 15 mins to the lake in Ballarat which is lovely. Would book again.

Lisa’s house was perfect for my sister and I to stay in for a weekend and had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay

Good location and spacious property . It was clean and Robert left milk in the fridge and a bottle of red wine for us to enjoy which was a nice touch. We would stay there again next time we visit our son in Buninyong .

Giselle was a fantastic host, her house was clean and tidy and in a fantastic location. It was an extra treat to have milk bread and eggs left by Giselle for us as well. I absolutely loved the decor and general feel of her house, I would definitely stay again and recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic deal close to town.

Adrian is a very friendly and responsive host. The house was clean and matches the photos and descriptions. We especially love that he has prepared a lot of utilities for the dog, which makes our stay much easier. The back yard is spacious for the dog. We enjoyed our 2 night stay in the house.

Jake's cottage is lovely; the back porch is very special. You feel like a guest in someone's home rather than a customer. The location was great. I particularly liked the coffee shop that was almost at the door. On-street parking but always managed a spot right at the gate. Overall, I had a great stay; I recommend the accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable and attractive cottage for a few days in Ballarat.

Andreana and Harry’s place was so beautiful! It was the perfect place for my wedding weekend, and the pictures were absolutely stunning that we took out in the garden and inside the treehouse-like interior. It was a stunning and relaxing retreat away. We will for sure want to visit in a year’s time to celebrate!

We had a great stay at David's Abode in Ballarat. Being pet friendly was wonderful as Georgie had a great space to roam around in the backyard. The house was spacious enough for all of us to move around and the kitchen was well supplied for a bit of cooking and food prep. The sofa was really comfortable for all of us to relax on. The beds were also comfortable for a great nights sleep. It was in a good location with restaurants, cafes/bars close by as well as a train station. The Abode was as described and I recommend.
