Cabin, one hour drive from Tromsø

3 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room. One bedroom on the ground floor(bed 120 cm). Two bedrooms on the first floor. Bedroom 1: (both beds 90 cm). Bedroom 2: (one bed 150 cm, one 90 cm, one 75 cm). Floorheating in bathroom and living room. Any type of heating is included in the rent. The area under 'The Lyngen Alps' (Lyngsalpene) are popular both for winter and summer vacations. In the dark months in mid Winter you can view the 'Northern Lights' (Aurora Borealis). When the darkest Winter is changing in to longer days the skiers appears in the spectacular mountains surrounding the house. 
If you want to go skiing, you go outside, put on your skies and of you go. There is a restaurant/bar that have a seasonal opening hours. The local grocery store is 5 km away. In Winter the local husky farm can give you a sledgeride into the picturesque surroundings, or you can go horseback riding in the Summer. During the Summer you can try the good fishing opportunities in the area. Fishing in lakes, river, creeks and the fjord is very popular. You can even do this all day and night, due to the midnightsun. The international airport in Tromsø is just 70km away. The train station in Narvik is just above 2 hours drive away. There are local buses daily, except Saturdays. Finland is 1hr 45 min drive away, and Sweden is 3 hours drive away. This is a place to relax an spend time in nature. Perfect to just sit outside watching the Northern lights crossing the sky. The owners of the house live nearby, they speak English and some German. They will try to answer all of your questions as best they know how.

Cabin in Signaldalen

This beautiful cabin is located in a fantastic location if you are looking for peace and quiet, it is beautifully located with a beautiful view. The cabin is sheltered from the farm and along the Signaldalselven river, where there is a hiking trail of 3 km that starts from the cabin. Northern lights right outside the cabin. short distance to the high mountains for skiing/ice climbing/peak tours/hiking/hunting and Northern Lights experiences. The area the cabin is located in is a well-known place for northern light tourists and you can take nice pictures of the northern lights with Otertinden in the background.

Lyngsalpene in autumn colours - Hotspot for the Northern Lights

Welcome to our farm in a strikingly beautiful, steep landscape in the Lyngen Alps! We are in one of the best areas for seeing the Northern Lights! There is a small road that starts outside the house in the courtyard and goes up sideways along a mountainside in the valley. (See photo album of the exterior) The area offers everything from trails suitable for children to challenging summit hikes for the experienced. Reindeer have been sighted in the area in September, as they migrate through here in September/October. The TV has a 5-metre HDMI cable for connecting a laptop/iPad.

Welcome to Ramfjorden, which offers beautiful scenery and towering mountains. Enjoy your time here in this detached house, which has everything you need for your stay. The area is a great location for viewing the Northern Lights and Arctic animals. Here you can fish in the fjord, which is covered in ice for 6 months of the year, go hiking in the surrounding area or drive into Tromsø, which takes about 30 minutes. I have free loan of a cot, snowshoes, sledges, toboggans, sports, fishing and ice fishing equipment. Snowboards, skates and boats can also be rented on request :-)

The cabin is located in Signaldalen about 110 kilometers from Tromsø city. Located by the Signaldalen river, which is surrounded by high mountains and mighty nature. There is a short distance to the high mountains for skiing/peak tours/hiking/hunting and northern lights experiences. There is also a snowmobile trail in winter. The cabin has electricity, running water and a sauna. Bed linen and towels are included. There is a well-equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, toaster and kettle. The nearest store (Hatteng) as well as a barbecue bar is 6 km from the cabin.
