The ground floor of the property consists of lounge/diner with table that sits 6. There’s an L-shaped sofa that converts into a double bed and 42” LCD. Kitchen consists of microwave, kettle, fridge, plug in induction on ring and toaster and all the essentials you need. The ground floor has underfloor heating so it’s cosy warm. Upstairs is a large bedroom with fantastic walk-in shower, another sofa bed and place to hang your stuff up. There’s even space for your four legged friend.

A self contained Annexe

We live in a beautiful village with many countryside walks to choose from. We have Aston potteries shop and cafe within a 5 minute walk which does the most delicious lunches/cakes. We’re just a stones throw away from Witney town centre which boasts many eateries and plenty of high street shops. Our annexe is attached to the side of our home above a double garage, it has velux windows which gives a nice lighting. The room is spacious with a good size en-suite and it’s own entrance.

Chapel House

This unique, architect designed converted chapel, believed to have been constructed in around 1778 in Cotswold stone beneath a stone slate roof, retains many original features and has been finished to a high standard with a thoughtful mix of contemporary and antique furnishings. The double height living area features four original stained glass arched windows and a glass balustrade staircase to the first floor, creating a stunning open plan space. The en-suite master bedroom family bathroom and second bedroom with zip and link twin beds, which can be converted to a double on request, provide spacious accommodation on the first floor. An attractive courtyard to the rear of the house completes this very special holiday home for four guests. Chapel House is situated in the picturesque village of Bampton, close to the Cotswolds and River Thames. Fans of Downton Abbey will recognise parts of Bampton, most notably St. Mary's Church and the library, which was used for filming outdoor scenes for the popular ITV television series. Although many amenities selling local produce can be found in Bampton, the larger city of Oxford and Witney town are in easy reach, offering an even greater selection of shops and places to eat. Children will love Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens with its fantastic array of animals, birds and reptiles to see. Ten minutes from Bampton is Kelmscott Manor which was once the country retreat of William Morris.
