Welcome to the holiday idyll on the edge of the forest. The property is located on our property, surrounded by the unique nature of Mecklenburg Switzerland. Nestled in the hilly landscape, you will find pure relaxation here. The building complex consists of a large sleeping and living yurt and a cottage in which the fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with warm water are located. Enjoy the moments in the sauna, by the pond, by the campfire, in the hammock or in the flower garden.

The apartment is located 30 m from the lake in the 200-year-old horse stable of the manor house. It was expanded in 2018 with a lot of clay and love. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a free private sauna, a large kitchen with a fireplace and a terrace with a beautiful view of the lake. From the jetty you can fish, swim or watch birds. There is a free canoe, paddle boat, SUP, adventure playground with tree swing, fireplace, table tennis, badminton, beach chair and sun loungers.

Pure and ecological - apartment in the Zarchlin manor house

The apartment is located on the upper floor of the manor house in the historically named Fronte Spice, the gable above the main entrance. It consists of a spacious living-dining room and a bedroom with ensuite shower room. In this apartment, everything has been restored to its original state. Paint off walls and beams, plastered with clay and lime; then gently restored with a little modern twist. It is a unique experience to feel the pure and clean ecological materials.

In the past 5 years, we have renovated the Zahren estate house with great effort and ecologically (clay plaster) and largely according to historical models but also with modern accents. The manor house, including the spacious common rooms on the first floor and a total of 4 apartments, can also be rented as an offsite location or privately individually or as a whole. It is located in a landscape park on approx. 20,000 square meters, which can be shared by our guests.

Our vacation home is located on the northern shore of Lake Plauer, with direct access to the lake. Cycling and hiking routes run along the lake. The unique natural landscape is very impressive and offers beautiful views of the Plauer. The nearest town is Alt Schwerin. It is a small village and has an agricultural museum, a shopping oasis with a bakery, restaurants and a jetty for steamboat trips, which can also be easily explored by bike.

On the lake side, the property is bordered by the idyllic bike and shore path around Lake Plau.
