This is therefore a PASSAGE ROOM! Our accommodation is located in the village. Rural and (mostly) quiet. The immediate surroundings are ideal for cycling tours and walks in the forest. There are shops for basic necessities such as groceries about 4 km away. The district town of Diepholz is ~ 10 km away.

The building where the apartment is located is particularly quiet, as only small offices and a physiotherapy practice are used during the day. In the evenings and on weekends, you have the entire house to yourself, so you can enjoy absolute peace and quiet. The apartment is located outside Diepholz in the industrial area & has an easy connection to the expressway. McDonald's, a beverage market and Lidl are only 1.5 km away. Other shops from the city of Diepholz are 2 km away.

Historic Cottage for nature lovers

Our little bakery originally dates back to the 17th century and belonged to a large Lower Saxony farm, which unfortunately no longer exists. Jutta acquired the house a good 20 years ago and made it into a small oasis with a lot of love for detail. Located in a village of 1000 inhabitants with a village store, bank and gas station, you can find peace and relaxation under the huge oak trees. Expanded bike paths invite you to cycle. The rural environment offers plenty of nature.

Pretty countryside apartment

This pretty apartment is located in an old half-timbered house very close to the Neustädter Moor. Ideal for walking, cycling or crane watching. The Dümmer can be reached in about 20 minutes by car. In the village there is a swimming pool, a variety of shops and restaurants. The Ströhen Zoo and the Moor Worlds can be found in the neighboring village. The apartment is fully equipped, has a double bedroom and in the living room there is a sofa bed.

Living in the (tiny) house - idyll in Crane Land!

Relaxed, quiet atmosphere for stargazers! Idyllic garden house on former farm in a very quiet location. Ideal for cyclists and country lovers, far away from cities and villages. In good weather, stargazers can admire the Milky Way, as the view is so clear at night. During the day you can just sit down and listen to the birds and in the evening enjoy the chirping of the crickets with wine. Starting in October, the cranes move into the country.

Pappelheim

In the north of the Dümmer Nature Park, between the Diepholz bog lowlands and Rehden Geestmoor, where the cranes winter, lies this small half-timbered house in a very quiet rural location. There is a kitchen, 1 living room, 2 bathrooms, 1 bedroom and the attic studio available on approx. 70 m² of living space. Terrace, garden and parking at the house are included. Smokers and urinators must stay outside. Dogs are allowed in, but not in bed.

Large bright guest apartment

Spacious attic apartment in a bungalow with its own staircase from the common hallway. The house is located in a residential area on the outskirts of town and is an ideal starting point for bike tours (e.g. to Lake Dümmer or to the zoo in the neighboring village) or for crane watching in the adjacent moors. Likewise, the apartment is suitable for fitters or professionals, for example, as a transitional solution (also for longer periods).

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Relax on the spacious balcony overlooking fields or enjoy the cozy living-dining area. A fully equipped kitchen is available. The stylish bathroom is right next to the bedroom. The apartment is heated by infrared heating and is almost CO2-neutral thanks to the photovoltaic system. An electric charging station can be used for an additional charge.

Circus wagon on the alpaca pasture - pure relaxation!

At Alpakahof Strange, we live with many animals on an old farmstead from 1848. The Lower Saxony hall house is still in its original condition in some parts and exudes the charm of a long-gone rural tradition. In the pasture behind the farmhouse stands the spacious circus wagon. The wagon shares the pasture with our llamas and alpacas, who graze and rest there during the day. Pure relaxation!
