Private suite holiday rentals in Basse-Terre Island

We spent more than 10 days in this beautiful traditional, colonial home and loved our stay. The house is ideal for a stay with family (here 4 adults and 2 children aged 3 and 7 months), we received all the necessary advice and particularly appreciated the cleanliness of the place upon arrival. We were not disturbed by the noise of nature and animals, which are neither more nor less than the sounds of Guadeloupean nature... and the holidays 😉 We took a taste for the "good living" that inspires this house and its artistic soul. The outside is beautiful and allows you to enjoy even more, moreover the house is very well located to do the activities nearby. Excellent stay. The hosts welcomed me warmly, and have perfected the balance between helpfulness and privacy for the guests. They are experienced in hospitality and very friendly. It's a very safe place as well. I loved the beautiful pool. The pool is perfect for children as well as it's shallow depth. I recommend the breakfast with breads and cheese, and the omelette is fabulous. You can eat it in a little gazebo overlooking the pool. The room is normal size and know that you can use all the common spaces to expand your space. The air conditioning in the room is high quality so you will get a good night sleep. Although there were other people in the villa, it was very quiet and I did not hear any noise. I also recommend the taxi driver service from Bruno who everybody loved; airport drive was about 15 min. We were there for Mardi Gras but it was still nice and quiet in this neighborhood. Towels and sheets were very clean. Hot shower with good water pressure.

beautiful place to visit the great land.10 minutes from the gosier by car. very quiet. very nice bedding. renovated bathroom, Italian shower air conditioning in each room. covered terrace and balcony have breakfast in the sun. thanks to Nelly and her husband for the meals offered . secure property for car. simple home with full amenities we recommend

Daniel and Edith are warm hosts who are present for any questions and requests for help. Their place overlooks a beautiful view and has a great garden. In the accommodation, we have access to games, books, hiking maps, beach accessories and everything you need to be comfortable. On the other hand, parking is a little difficult to access sinceit is very steep. The left part to get into the parking lot is steep, you have to be careful not to go through it, as it hangs the underside of the car. At night, the neighbor's rooster sings a lot, so if you have a light sleep, it can be hard to sleep. In short, we loved our stay and can't wait to return to Daniel and Edith's!

A beautiful, atmospheric and clean place. A large terrace, full of greenery, where you can spend pleasant evenings. Very well-equipped apartment and good wi-fi. Very nice and helpful hosts. We will be very happy to come back.

Best value for money in the industry! A welcoming host even offered us bokits when we arrived as well as a hand to repair my broken bag... A comfortable space that has all the essentials for a great stay. Clean , private parking, all right next to the village of St Anne . What more could you ask, thank you again to Chantal and all his family for this welcome 🫶

We had a pleasant stay at this accommodation. Quiet, it is also very well-equipped. Its location is perfect for visiting Grande Terre (close to Sainte Anne and Saint François). Thanks to the parking space, it's very easy to park. We'll go back there with our next trip to Guadeloupe.

I loved the stay at the place of Albert and Marie. They live in a calm area a bit up the hill near Basse Terre, near to the National Park and other attractions plus to a supermarket and bakeries, and the apartment is very nice within a small garden full of little birds. The nicest of this place are however Albert and Marie, who helped me in bringing me to the carnival and to the bus station in Basse Terre, and who even would have picked me up from the bus station if I would not have found a bus to near to their house before they could do so. I absolutely recommend this place if you look for some quiet and authentic island life near to the green, but still close to town. Thank you so much, Albert and Marie!

At the gates of Pointe à Pitre, this comfortable apartment is located at the basement of the owners house and especially has a beautiful swimming pool.

Happiness! Don't hesitate, this is the house for you. House that smells clean. Liliane and Fabert are very welcoming and Liliane's cooking is a pure wonder! Thanks to you, who made our second part of the stay a success! We'll be back and we'll be sure to talk about this place to those around us.

Due to a problem with their listing. Fritz was very responsive and professional. He found a solution to relocate us at his expense! Rather than canceling our reservation. As a result, the stay went well. Thanks to Fritz for that responsiveness, and his professionalism. So I recommend fritz!

A great apartment, a 10 min walk into the pretty village and harbour. The pool was usually empty, we scuba dived in the morning and relaxed by the pool or at the beach in the afternoon. The view from the bedroom is great. Be aware if you have mobility issues that the walk up from the village is fairly steep, and the bathroom is downstairs. Not a problem for us - we had a fantastic stay!

Kevin’s cottage was beautiful, the view is spectacular and the small pool is just great to cool down on a hot day. The house in nicely appointed with a good air conditioning unit and stocked kitchen (although we didn’t cook while we were there). The house is a short walk to the beach (basically private beach). We would stay in this property again just because of this. Short drive to town and restaurants. Kevin made a great effort to communicate with us despite the language barrier, and I appreciate it immensely. Beautifully relaxing stay and I highly recommend it.
