Our air-conditioned 2 bed 2 bath apartment is situated on the first floor with a large private balcony! Two minutes walk from shopping, the beach or the bus it is set in lush tropical gardens with ample off street parking. Hammock time? Pura Vida!
“Don’t hesitate to book this spot. The location is perfect for the beach, supermarket, buses up and down the coast, and a variety of restaurants. The apartment has ample space for two couples especially as the rooms are both en-suite and the exact same, although we were 2 people with a room each. You have everything you need to self cater or enjoy drinks on the balcony. Only “down” side is mosquitoes, but Ruth was prepared with repellant for us too, and you get those everywhere. Access to the pool club is also a brilliant touch. Great value, especially in comparison to hotels in the area. Ruth is a delight - always on hand for tips, advice, and equally respectful of your space. Don’t forget to ask for eggs etc from Bryn’s farm! Thanks for a great first trip to Barbados.”
Our popular villa now includes a bonus Beach Club membership (800m) and is short stroll from the lively shops, restaurants and bars of Holetown, Barbados (1km). A full kitchen and nearby supermarket make it easy to whip up meals between outings. The shared plunge pool and courtyard are perfect for morning dips. Enjoy movies with our guest Netflix account. Nestled on a safe, tropical cul-de-sac, this villa offers a peaceful and quiet reprieve from all of the action in Holetown.
“This was our first time using Airbnb as we tend to hate ‘resort’ hotels and the style of hotel/accommodation we like seemed hard to find in Barbados (or was out of our price bracket!). This was a great first experience; we loved our stay in James and Roxanne’s Villa. It was clean and spacious with a choice of lovely outdoor spaces and in a great neighbourhood, walking distance to central Holetown and the beach. The kitchen has everything you would need and Roxanne made sure to drop by with a new coffee machine on our first day as the previous one suffered an accident just before our arrival, but in the meantime she lent us her own nespresso machine and pods and then left us with that also; heaven for us coffee addicts! There is a lovely chap Akiel who makes his own fresh juices and delivers to your door most mornings about 9am - this is arranged by Roxanne and is complimentary - a really nice touch; I wish Akiel every success in his business venture. Access to the beach club is also a great bonus. The nearest bus stop is really close and with buses every few minutes, it is easy to get anywhere on the West Coast. We were heading over to the East Coast after staying here so always intended hiring a car but in the end we didn’t pick a car up until our last day as we didn’t feel we needed it while here. I think the Villa is very fairly priced. We would recommend.”
Villa Soleil is a magnificent luxury 2-storey villa with 2 separate self-contained 1-Bedroom ground floor apartments in its grounds, and all share a lovely pool and private parking. Built 10 years ago, within 3-minutes’ drive of Holetown, on the West Coast, with its restaurants and shopping. The nearest beach is about a 10-minute walk (3-minute drive).
“This place is so so lovely, I’m so glad we stayed. The apartment itself is beautiful, with really high roofs, a super comfy bed - it’s just really cosy. The pool is great as well. We’d probably get a car if we stayed again, just because it is a little walk from the main road. Only 5 minutes or so but it can feel long when you have all your beach stuff. Some great restaurants close by ( literally just the end of the road on the walk to Holetown) and such easy access to the beach and bus stops for both directions. I would take a sleep mask if you like a dark room at bed time, as the bedroom was quite light, but still lovely. We loved it, June was so helpful.”
