“We had a lovely stay at Rob’s place. The apartment is well equipped, cosy and very clean. There were some extra’s in the kitchen, very thoughtful! We didn’t use the terras because it was too cold but with beautiful weather that must be very lovely too! The stream, the sheep, it’s all very idyllic! I would certainly recommend this apartment.”
Our beautiful camping pod sleeps 2 adults comfortably but could sleep 3 adults or 2 plus 2 young children. Based on our working farm with panoramic views of local fells and Skiddaw. Birdwatching tarn and Hide opposite. electric points and lights
“Great value and amazing location for exploring the Lake District. We were so impressed with the camping pod, and the facilities around it. The bird sanctuary was an excellent highlight along with the very clean and well heated toilet / shower block. One of the be at showers I’ve ever had, very hot with great pressure. Will be coming back again!”
This is our gorgeous, ground floor, studio flat in the heart of Cockermouth. You are right on the border of the beautiful Lake District and within easy reach of any of the wonderful walks and lakes that the area has to offer. The flat itself has everything that you will need for an enjoyable stay. It has lock box entry so no need to worry about arrival times. We have supplied games, DVDs as well as WiFi and over 100 tv channels. We have a very comfy double bed and a very easy to use sofa bed.
“An absolutely lovely place in the heart of Cockermouth! There was enough room for the three of us to feel comfortable, as well as our small dog! Siobhan is a brilliant host, all communication was brilliant from start to finish and she offered suggestions for places to eat etc. Sainsburys/Lidl, pubs, bars and cafes all close by. The only problem we found was finding places that would allow us in with our dog, although Veeva allowed dogs on a Saturday and Sunday they said. ‘The Bitter End’ pub allows dogs and was a great place for food and a craft ale. We had a really lovely stay and felt at home, there was everything we needed in the flat. We were all just disappointed to only be staying for the one night! Would highly recommend this accomodation and would definitely like to return in future but for longer next time! Many thanks! :-)”
