An idyllic holiday home with a beautiful location in the fishing village of Hamningberg in East Finnmark. The house has 3 bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, a glass veranda, an outdoor baking oven and a pavilion in the garden. Hamningberg offers beautiful nature and unique recreational opportunities. A rich wildlife with whales, seals, sea eagles, ravens, foxes, hares and reindeer. The sea is right outside with cod, haddock, halibut and king crab. Rivers and fishing waters nearby. The road from Vardø to Hamningberg is part of the national tourist route and offers a unique experience.

Welcome to a real Finnmark cabin – undisturbed and close to nature, with the Syltefjordelva river and fantastic hunting, fishing and hiking opportunities nearby. Here you live in the midst of magnificent nature, far from light pollution and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. On the other side of the water lies the Varangerhalvøya National Park with spectacular views and large hunting and hiking areas. The area is easily accessible on foot via the bridge over the river. Experience the midnight sun, autumn colours, the northern lights and the silence that only Finnmark can offer.

Cozy house in Kongsfjord

Our nice house from 1924 is unique, since Kongsfjord is one of the few villages in Finnmark that was not burned during World War II. The house is worthy of preservation, and we have worked step by step to safeguard the soul and the house. We will now rent out to be able to finance further renovation, such as replacement of windows and exterior cladding. The house is perfectly located to experience the nature in the area. Bird watching, freshwater and sea fishing and not least salmon fishing in the fantastic Kongsfjordelva. The house is in the middle of the village.

Cabin in hunting and fishing area

About 20 km outside Båtsfjord, towards Nordfjord, you can find tranquility alone or with your family. In the middle of amazing hiking, hunting and fishing terrain is a mountain cabin. You can hear the Syltefjord river rushing, and enjoy coffee with both elk, reindeer and other small game. In summer/spring, several popular tourist destinations in the area are available. Camp Syltefjord, Havna Wildlife Arctic Resort and Farmen Syltefjord offer various experiences, or a good meal if the salmon does not bite. Road all the way up to the cabin.

After a long day out in nature, you can relax in the private sauna with shower – an experience in itself. We also offer Wi-Fi. Located 50 m from a café/restaurant that is open from 11 am to 7 pm. They also offer safari trips by boat 🚤

Wood and oil stove,additional heater for gas bottles,terrace with river view,possibility of grilling or a campfire,cold water outside in the summer (no shower),gas stove with oven, cutlery and plates,cups, pots. The cabin is in an ideal location for salmon fishing, with the river just 100 meters away.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful residence. This is a cabin. Not a house or apartment. Enjoy nature, go for walks in the mountains and by the sea. There is a campfire area outside and on the veranda. Good parking space. With the possibility of tents. A fridge and freezer are available. The toilet and shower are not attached to the cabin. You have to go out to the back to the shed. There is no flush toilet.
