Close to other popular beaches such as Robe and Beachport. Southend is adjacent to the Canunda National Park for 4WD enthusiasts. Southend is perfect for fishing, sailing, swimming or just lazing on the beach. A surf beach is situated between Southend and Beachport. Southend has a small shop that is licensed and sells basic groceries. It has a takeaway fish and chip shop open weekends (6 days during summer).There is a local community club open weekends (open for meals in summer).Restaurants and other shopping is available in Beachport and Millicent, both a short drive away. We would like to stress this property is our own beach house. It is not resort standard accommodation. There isn't any air conditioning only fans and basic heating. Our pricing reflects this. It should be viewed as a comfortable base for exploring the area and other activities : fishing, boating, surfing and 4 wheel driving.
