It's now a blend of farmhouse and contemporary. This cottage is also a blend of country and town, with plenty of space to spread out, relax, walk our 3 acres, view mountains, and watch the deer. Features: hot tub, outdoor dining area, small kitchenette amenities, and smart-tv w/firestick (must use your hotspot to stream). 10 min to BR Parkway, Peaks of Otter, and Claytor Nature Center. Wineries, orchards, and hiking nearby. 15min to Town of Bedford and D-Day Memorial. 35min to Roanoke, Lynchburg, and Smith Mtn Lake. Friendly dogs may occasionally visit from my mother’s house next door. (Look for Wind Tides Farm sign).

Otterview has one of the most incredible views in the state, huge deck, and private swimming pond. The house is open format with 3 bedrooms, a top of the line kitchen, cozy living room, and extraordinary great room. Look out at the Peaks of Otter, enjoy incredible sunrises and sunsets. You are welcome to grill out on the Blackstone, enjoy the firepit, and relax on the dock. There is two miles of trails on the 37 acre property with their own trail signs and map.

18th Century Cabin Retreat

Come enjoy our 18th century cabin! They don't make them like this anymore. One side built in 1750, the other in 1825. Sit under the giant white oak and enjoy the country air. This is a wonderful retreat to kick back and relax. Enjoy the pool, horseshoes, and fire pit. In the winter months, cozy up by the wood stove or fire place with gas logs. NO PETS!!! Please do not bring your pets. Owners live on site, so if you are in need of anything, please ask!
