The Garden House

A beautiful, recently renovated two storey house attached to the host's home. It is secluded, south facing and sunny, with glorious views across water meadows to the river which cuts its way beneath steep woodland and past the best fine dining pub in Herefordshire, The Riverside. The house has its own terraced garden and below, an orchard - great for dogs. We are on the marvellous Mortimer Trail which is a 30 mile walk between the towns of Ludlow and Kington. 45 mins from Hay Festival!

Enjoying far reaching views over the valley and the Welsh hills, the Barn lies nestled at the head of a gentle valley in the tiny hamlet of Kinton. Visit the historic market towns of Ludlow & Clun and the nearby Welsh Marches which abound in historic sites and castles. The village is a 5 minute walk with shop, petrol station, local butchers, riverside pub & parlour bar (Sun Inn)

Tawny Owl Barn

Tawny Owl Barn is a 200-year-old, grade 2 listed, tastefully converted barn in the village of Leintwardine. A large garden is available for our guests which has a wildlife pond and waterfall and another barn with an open fire available for sitting around. Rooms are spacious, well furnished, and well-equipped. There is a large kitchen/diner and lounge plus two bedrooms with en-suites. A large lounge settee can also be used as a double bed. There are two pubs and shop within walking distance.

Wilde Lodge - Exclusive country house

Available to hire for any occasion; weddings, a self catered family holiday or for a special celebration or party. Price from 1st April to 30th September is for the main lodge (sleeps 14), safari tent, long barn, open barn, grounds, main lodge and 3 bell tents on raised decks that can sleep 2 per tent. In total we can sleep 20 guests, with options to add in more bell tents. Price from 1st October to the 20th March is for the hire of the main lodge & grounds to sleep 14 guests.

Stable is a cosy dog-friendly character cottage with an open-plan living space and an upstairs king double bedroom with ensuite shower room. Stable is one of a five cottage barn conversion adjacent to the host's home set amidst the beautiful Shropshire Hills and border Marches; on the edge of the Downton Estate and Mortimer Forest; with walks/cycling from the doorstep - this cottage is an ideal base for exploring the local area, further afield, or simply relaxing in our courtyard.

Comprises of 1 bedroom with King size, wooden sleigh bed. Shower room EnSuite with rainfall shower. Upstairs has a fully fitted kitchen, including all utensils for self-catering and a comfortable dining and lounge area, with Smart TV. The annex is surrounded by scenic views of the Shropshire Hills. Pets allowed.

Designed and built here on the farm, this modern conversion brings a luxurious ‘interior feel’ surrounded by never-ending oak beams with views over looking the apple orchards. With 70 acres of near by orchards for you and your pets to ‘roam freely’ it’s a true feeling of the very beautiful English countryside.

Great Hagley Bunkhouse is located on a small country estate in an area of outstanding national beauty. There are many activities on the estate including a 520m zip wire, low ropes challenge course, and much more. It is the perfect location for families or groups to get-together. Great Hagley is based in a walkers & bikers paradise with two national mountain biking trails on the doorstep.
