A cosy getaway for two in the heart of Wiltshire countryside. The Garden Room is nestled in the private garden of our traditional thatched cottage in the hamlet of West Stowell. The studio offers a comfy double bed, loveseat sofa & kitchenette with bistro table. Many famous sights within driving distance including Bath, Marlborough, Salisbury & Avebury – and many fabulous walks in the surrounding area. Parking available, well behaved dogs welcome (garden not dogproof), use of BBQ on request.

Set within the Vale of Pewsey, with countryside walks from the village, the hut is close to the Kennet & Avon Canal and the Wiltshire Cycle Pathway. Pubs and cafes within 1 mile of the village serving great food. Many local historic sites including Avebury, Stonehenge and Lacock. A relaxing and cosy retreat at any time of the year.

The North Transept

The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.

Fox Den - Luxury Stargazing Shepherd Hut!

Slow down and switch off at Fox Den, a luxury stargazing shepherd hut on our family farm beside the Kennet & Avon Canal. Wake to birdsong and enjoy lazy morning coffee in your private garden before wandering the canal towpath or exploring independent cafes, shops and countryside pubs nearby. As evening falls, light the BBQ fire pit, pour a drink and watch the stars appear through the skylight above your bed. Dog friendly! (Starlink internet if you choose to stay connected to the world).

"Hares Rest" shepherd hut is situated in a private location within a paddock with amazing rural views. Hares, red kites, barn swallows and deer are just some of the wild life you can see. Good pubs within various walking distance (3, 30 and 45 mins). Bowood House, adventure park, golf course and spa is 5 mins drive away. The train station is a 10 minute drive with easy access to Bath. We have horses so only very well behaved dogs are allowed by prior agreement and additional charge.

This studio loft has been recently refurbished with a stylish yet cosy feel. A perfect retreat with lots of creature comforts to make it the ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. Perfect for walkers, cyclists or a romantic getaway. Although attached to our house it is completely self contained with a separate entrance and ample parking. Well behaved dogs are welcome but we do ask that they are kept on leads. We have a secure location available for bicycles.

1 double bedroom (extra single bed available on request) with a private entrance. It stands in a courtyard behind gates which open onto a quiet road that leads to The Ridgeway and Salisbury Plain. There is off street parking in the courtyard which is part of a walled garden. The village is especially well provided with a range of shops including a Chemist, Butcher, Post Office and a Co-op which is open until 10.00pm. There is a Pub and two good take-away outlets.
