Cancleave - Cornish Clifftop Luxury

Cancleave has been in our family since 1962. During the winter of 2020/21 it underwent a complete reconstruction to create a modern, energy-efficient and supremely comfortable retreat. Nestled on the coast road between Crackington Haven and Widemouth Bay, the property occupies around half an acre of lawned garden bordering the South West Coast Path. From here you can enjoy breathtaking views across Bude Bay as far as Lundy Island, as well as inland vistas stretching all the way to Dartmoor.

Boscastle retreat - Shepherds Hut: The Apple Tree

This super cool Shepard’s hut (with interior shower and loo) is situated in a private orchard with views of the sea and surrounding valley, one and a half miles from the picturesque fishing village of Boscastle, an area of outstanding natural beauty. 'The Weekender' @Cleavefarmcottages, Crackington

The Weekender is a contemporary space,38sqm with stunning views all round step through the door and relax. The decor is stylish, comfortable, a beautiful haven to sit and contemplate the breathtaking surroundings from. Described by a recent guest as "The most beautiful small space they'd ever stayed in" It can be difficult to do anything here other than unwind. But if you can drag yourself away from this little gem it's a great place to explore North Cornwall's diverse delights from.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. The Old Oil House is located right in the heart of Boscastle, with its picturesque harbour, village shops, pubs and tea rooms steps away from your front door. The spacious apartment occupies the ground floor of this 150 year old building and retains the original beams while having a modern feel. There is also an allocated parking space - gold dust in the summer months! Dog friendly too!

All interiors are furnished to a very high level of quality and artistic design. It is set in 50 acres of North Cornish farmland.

The loft

Wake up to wide sea views across the coastline towards the legendary castle island. The Loft is a peaceful, romantic retreat for two with its own private path leading directly down to the South West Coast Path and the beach below. Tucked away above the cliffs yet only a short walk from the village, it’s the perfect place for coastal walks, sunsets over the Atlantic and quiet mornings watching the sea. Many guests tell us the view alone makes them never want to leave.

A pretty barn conversion at pencuke farm holiday cottages and close to the beach, pub and cafes. Offers really spacious accommodation for two, or a couple with a baby or child. An extra bed can be added for £50 per week or part thereof. Please ask if you would like this. Darzona also has ultra fast fibre broadband, perfect if you need to work during your stay. There’s a pay per use 7.2kw EV charge point and indoor golf simulator for hire.

Small but beautifully formed the Boatshed is an ideal couple’s retreat. It’s in a quiet location in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with picture-perfect sea and countryside views. With on-site parking the Boatshed is a perfect base for exploring Cornwall. Hillsborough comprises three properties, the Farmhouse, the Hayloft and the Boatshed. All properties are fully self-contained, each with their own private outside space.
