My place is close to the Centre of the Gippsland region, family-friendly activities, the beach, wineries, art studios, cafes and local markets. There is also the award winning Prom Country Cheese Factory only 7 minutes drive from our cottage. You’ll love my place because of the cosiness, scenic farm/country surroundings. We are an easy drive from the city. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers.
“I adore South Gippsland and staying in Bena was the ultimate. The natural world there is exquisite - the rolling green hills, bird life, beautiful skies and quietness is delightful. So close to Korrumburra, Leongatha and the beautiful inlet in Inverloch, it’s the perfect location. The cottage was ideal for me. It was really warm and cosy and perfect for what I needed - relaxation and a break. I loved doing yoga on the deck with the morning sun and kookaburra singing. My favourite was watching the sun setting from the paddock. And then finishing the day getting into a toasty bed warmed by the electric blanket! Julie and Peter were so kind and friendly, but let me have my quiet space and time to just be. I felt very happy and comfortable with them nearby and talking to them. It was like meeting old friends again. Thank you both so much - looking forward to seeing you again in a few months :)”

“Helen is a kind, thoughtful and friendly woman and one of the best Airbnb hosts we’ve had. We booked quite last minute due to needing emergency accommodation from the Gippsland fires and Helen was very quick to reply. Her house is set on the most beautiful property, surrounded by farmland and gardens. It’s only a few minute drive into town, the room and bed were super comfy and the breakfast spread was exactly what we needed for our long day ahead. I would highly recommend staying with Helen as your base to explore the area- the town is gorgeous and so close to both Melbourne and Wilsons Prom!”
Whether you're looking for a quiet & relaxing haven to escape & unwind from the hustle & bustle of a busy 21st Century life or a base to launch your trips to the Prom, the wineries or simply driving tours of the beautiful South Gippsland countryside, this cosy 120 year-old cottage allows for a calm and soothing getaway in the quaint village of Loch.
“The home is very cosy and filled with personal touches. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave, all cooking utensils, plates, glasses, cutlery and more. The two bedrooms are comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The home is filled with aromatic smells from diffusers. We loved the outdoor area with the capacity to eat out doors on a lovely night or breakfast at sunrise. The house is very clean provided with sheets, pillows, doonas and towels. There are games to amuse yourself, a t.v with an in built DVD. The fire place is lovely on cool nights. A perfect romantic getaway or a getaway with friends or family. Highly recommend as our family has visited the home twice already.”
