El pajar (the barn) de Casa del río is an independent one-bedroom apartment with private bathroom, kitchen and living room, built on a first floor. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook your own meals. The apartment is basic and minimalist, but it’s also very comfortable and has everything you need for a enjoyable stay. The whole apartment has views to the valley. You can also use two shared terraces with views to the valley and the big garden. Please be aware that the apartments do not have washing machine, TV or microwave/oven. If you can’t live without those, this may not be the perfect place for your stay. Phone signal and wifi work perfectly and are quite reliable. Casa del río is the perfect way to scape the noise and experience first-hand living a simple and sustainable life in an Asturias village off the beaten track. The property is ideal for people who want to be away from the noise and crowds, as it is quite isolated and the village of Xio has no services at all. Closest services are a bar/restaurant/swimming pool 10min by car, and shops, supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy, petrol station, etc…20min by car.

Located just above the Llumeres cliff, with privileged and direct views of the Peñas Lighthouse, a place of great interest and demand in the Principality of Asturias. It consists of a spacious living room and fully equipped kitchen, two terraces (both with ocean views), a full bathroom, a relaxation area and a very large bedroom with an integrated bathtub and incredible ocean views. Cada apartamento es independiente y tiene su entrada desde la plaza. El jardín compartido se encuentra en la parte superior de la casa. Antes de reservar, ten en cuenta que estamos en una pequeña aldea de montaña, alejada de pueblos y servicios. El acceso discurre por carreteras de montaña, no disponemos de WiFi y la cobertura móvil es limitada. En la Rectoral viven nuestros perros y gallinas, por lo que solo podemos aceptar perros sociables y acostumbrados a convivir con otros animales.

Disconnect from the routine in this comfortable and relaxing little house. Our house is located within the Somiedo Natural Park, in the village of La Peral. The house has an open room that combines kitchen, living room and dining room and two double bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with two twin beds) and the bathroom with shower. Lots of possibilities for natural landscapes, excursions and trekking surround our warm stay. The small village is very cozy.
