Great place to stay. Trond responds quickly. Location is good, lighthouse, whalesafari and museum is nearby. Rooms are clean and nice. Recommend

Wonderful location of the listing. Lauvkik is wonderful to shine on senja. Close to the ferry, convenience store and beautiful hikes. The place was overall clean and above all extremely well located. Communication was easy and check-in/ check-out was made easy. We had the chance to see northern lights and even dolphins. It should only be noted that the accommodation does not have a storage space so if you have luggage like us it can quickly become bulky.

Janne’s cozy place in Finnsnes / Trollvik was the perfect base for us for our Senja leg of our trip. Plenty of space for 2pax and a well equipped kitchen. Just one thing to note is that the toilet and shower are in two separate rooms away from each other - but not an issue for us. Highly recommend this place, and if we’re back in Senja we’ll happily come back again.

We were there only for one night. Wish we could have stayed longer. Eva was a perfect host and everythin was super. I would recommend this accodation to my best friend and I will try to book here again if I come again.

A real fun home with retro style and colorful environment.

In the selective section, I selected the "Place looks like in the photos" option, but it's not true, the place is better than the photos! It may be the most beautiful place we've been to so far!! Wonderful views from the living room window, both bedrooms, patio, garden and jacuzzy 🥹😍 We saw the light every night of our 3 pumpkin stay from the beach, which is next to the house. And when the sky was on the other side of the sky (not visible from our beach), it was enough to go to another beach for shortcuts, to the other end of the island (maybe 100 meters) A charming barbecue gazebo that is available to guests complete the image of this place as a small paradise on a land perfect for a getaway. The owners are super nice and very helpful! We can't get into this place and its hosts! 🤗 WE RECOMMEND WHOLEHEARTEDLY!!!

Stein and Karen were great hosts! The Airbnb was a little hard to find and reach amidst the snow and ice. But Stein personally came out to welcome and guide us. The equipment, especially the crampons, that they lent us were lifesavers for when we drove around Kvaløya to hunt for Northern Lights. The Airbnb itself was very cozy and well equipped. Very beautiful views that matched the photos. We were very lucky and was able to see the Aurora right from the patio on both nights that we stayed. Would love to stay again if we visit!

This house offers an extraordinary view of the sea and the Northern Lights on the beautiful island of Sommarøy. The decor is impeccable, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere, especially with the warm fireplace that adds to the charm. The house is fully equipped with everything needed for a wonderful stay, and it is conveniently located close to Tromsø and the ferry to Senja. Runne was an excellent host, always attentive and even gave us Northern Lights alerts, which made our experience even more special. A perfect choice for anyone visiting Sommarøy!

Very nice and clean accommodation. The landscape is very peaceful. The host is friendly and really very responsive to messages. We didn't miss anything. If we come back to this area we would rent this place again without hesitation!

the house impresses with its beautiful location directly on the sea, we could watch northern lights directly from the terrace. the living room invites for cozy hours by the fire. in the Nordic Hotel 500m on foot there was a great breakfast buffet. so we can highly recommend a stay here, there is nothing missing!

It was an amazing place to stay. The house itself was beautiful and felt very homey! Sommaroy was amazing and there was great scenery. We loved our stay here, just wished it was longer.

We've had a great stay here on our business trip. If you prefer a calm place then it will be perfect. Good view out of the apartment, extremely spacious! Friendly and helpful host.

Per was an exceptional host! Out of 100 stays, he is by far the best host we have had. Per made sure everything was perfect for the stay. The kids loved the snow on the farm and Per sorted out a sledding hill for them along with all the bits and bobs needed to enjoy the cold weather. He went above and beyond and I am grateful for the hospitality and love that he showed myself, wife, and three kids. Thank you!

We loved this place! Beautiful surroundings and a cozy hytte. Good spot to explore Senja and ski Husfjellet. Plus, the kitchen was thoughtfully and thoroughly outfitted so cooking was easy.

This place is and will be fantastic. First of all, seeing Frank was very nice. He immediately makes you feel very welcome. He is hospitable and cheerful. The apartment is very cozy and nicely decorated. Clean, large windows, nice bed, good kitchen essentials and a wood-burning stove outside to light a fire. The views over the coast and the mountains are phenomenal and due to the rapidly changing light, you never get bored. It's a really restful place and it was a valuable ‘coming home’. Amazing location and a really lovely flat - truly felt like a home from home

June is a fabulous hostess! We stayed here for a business trip for my husband for 7 weeks. The apartment is beautiful, large, very comfortable. We call it "The Palace". She was very flexible and was able to let us stay longer than originally planned. She even drove us to the airport on the day we left so we didn't need to rent a car for the last few days. Very gracious and gave personal attention. Thank you for the lovely stay!!

Lovely apartment with a lovely view. Very central and close to the walk by the sea. Neat and tidy, and lots of natural light.

Fantastic apartment which was modern, clean and stylish, very well equiped kitchen, great views, magnificent nature, perfect for seeing the aurora borealis as it is far enough away from the lights of Tromsø. There is a aurora lookout on the road to Rekvik, about 7 minutes by car from the apartment, but the best views that we had of the aurora were from the garden of the apartment! But the best part it all were the welcoming and friendly hosts Steinar og Anne :)
