Welcome to our modern apartment in the heart of Bergen city center: very central but still quiet and withdrawn from city noise. A great starting point for exploring Bergen: From the living room, you can see Mount Fløyen and the funicular Fløibanen. Just outside the door, your can look over to Bryggen. The fish market, national aquarium, museums, and shopping are all within a short walk. And if you are planning a fjord trip, the boat terminal Strandkaiterminalen, is only a stone's throw away.

Solbakken Microhouse

The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken farmyard on Os. In front of the house is Gallery Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden that is always open to the public. Around the house goats graze, and you have a view of some free-range chickens, and some alpacas on the other side of the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the peace. There are also great hiking trails nearby.

There is a 98l freezer box where you can store the fish you catch or any other food. Through our boat rental company, we are a lisenced fish camp. This means you can export up to 18kg of fish per fisherman with you out of Norway.
