The road does not go all the way up, so you have to walk about 15 minutes up to the cabin. There are solar cells, 12 volt systems for lighting, charging, TV with DVD player to relax with a movie in the evening. Fridge and stove on gas. Fish trout and char in the water or hike over the mountain into Bergen city centre, enjoy an ice cold beer on the pier and take the bus back in the evening. It is best if you have some experience with outdoor life from before.

The buses run every 5minutes during the day and every 10 minutes in the evening. The bus takes 13 minutes to Bergen City. In the weekends 1 adult ticket can bring 4 kids under 15 years for free on the bus.
